Eventually , the shard transforms into a mini form of that unfamiliar figure that entered her as a child and it stares at her with a single eye " You are definitely a stray , Saver , you don't look a lot like the gods that have bestowed gifts as blessings . "
She gazes around Saver's body to see a lot of her savings attached to its form ' Maybe staring and admiring you has changed my taste in people . Humans already look boring and even the others don't feel as exciting '
She looks at a glowing green flesh and kisses it as Saver Loads out some oxygen , allowing Dennis to fill her lungs with more oxygen " This power really is useful " Dennis lays her hand back as Saver returns into her , waiting for when she wants to call it .
Willow walks down from the rooftop and sees a console beside her " We're gaming till dinner " ... the girls both eat at a dining table while Willow initiates a conversation " I gotta admit you are so fun when despite how much you work and try to excel in this forward moving society " " What can I say , our history is very short and our wars are basically several mini wars because nuclear weapons would set us back too far "
" Yet you still build them " " Most of it is to power our electricity and economy " " Speaking of economy , you sure spend a lot " Willow said " It's not about how much you spend but how much you earn . But the plan might be obsolete if we can't hide the magic sources from the towers . Maybe we'll know when they don't detect the runes on you '
Saver stretches a tendril and taps on a rune with a question mark grown from their flesh ' Yes that's the one ... No , I won't be keeping their gift . You can eat it if you want and can , since their ability is sorta like mine , it just doesn't stretch as far as your ability does '
Dennis has gotten way too used to speaking with Saver on her own and since Saver doesn't seem to make many complaints with the one-sided conversation , she sometimes wonders if she has them figured out or not .
' It's so weird that previously I could only Save and Load time , but it gradually grew , I'm not sure if this was Saver's growth or mine , since all I do is input a thought and some knowledge to better describe it to myself and them . After all , during that dentist appointment , all I did was wish for time to be Saved for later uses and I was very young back then '
The mystery was going to take a while to be solved , but since Saver has yet to speak , she figures she's gonna have to wait until Saver can speak her language after going through the difficulties that they likely have that she doesn't know .
