I walked forward and conversed with RhobeWhis, "I think that boulder was from the giant."
RhobeWhis replied, "I agree, but what about the glowentree? You think that would be the cause, or a trap for going down there?"
I replied, "No, the glowentree would have not attached until it saw we were visible, so that's out of the question. It couldn't be a trap, because there was no boulder readily nearby."
RhobeWhis contorted, "I like the theory of the giant but, why are you so smart, you're a barbarian you know."40Please respect copyright.PENANAvewBTgCqJa
I replied with a smug grin, "Because I'm cultured. Besides, aren't you supposed to be really smart?"40Please respect copyright.PENANAhrCluAgehs
RhobeWhis replied, "How many aphorisms do you got in store there?"40Please respect copyright.PENANAVCLw8WcmLl
I smiled and replied, "A lot more."
We went all the way to a large clearing with the giant in front of a pile of trees.
RhobeWhis yelled, "Giant!"
I told RhobeWhis, "Let's burn him with the pile of trees in the middle. You light it. I'll get him there and weakened."
I ran forward and threw the ruby-tipped javelin, which to my surprise, burst into flames and it changed the trajectory, which made it land straight on the head where I meant to hit it, but would have missed. I recognized the two forces Guaranteed Hit and Flame I.
Flame I: Makes an object burst into flames when thrown, but Guaranteed hit is even better, its name does the description for me! I knew about them from school as a kid.
The fireball I was waiting on finally fired, as the slime pet I tamed hit the giant to finally knock him over. The trees burst into fire, and were now raging on the toppled giant. He was dead in a minute.
I grabbed my javelin, and I put it in my infinite pocket. I also grabbed a couple of giant ribs that were left. 40Please respect copyright.PENANAwOqC1ubbpo
I told RhobeWhis, "Let's move on."
We traveled further and went to the nearby path just outside of the cursed forest, and we got on to the path along the way, I said to RhobeWhis "That's the start of our journey I guess."
He replied, "I'm sorry it got off to such a bad start, but we survived, didn't we?"
We looked off into the distant sun, a long with the countless non-visible towns we would eventually find.
