Ivan walked up to the door. He was going to visit Andrew since he was making soup for dinner (he was really good at cooking, like REALLY good) God, was He nervous, though. He had been feeling things for him he hadnt felt before and it was horrible. He took a deep breath and tried to open it, but it was locked. He panicked internally for a second before realizing there was a key hidden under the rug. He picked it up. It was one of those custom print keys and had a Halloween design with a black kitty on it. Andrew always had a knack for customizing random stuff. Ivan thought to himself, smiling a little bit. He said the key into the slot, struggled a little bit (Ivan always had trouble with keys) and finally got the door open. "Hey, Ivan!" A cheerful voice from the kitchen said. He ignored the greeting. " You're already on the soup? " He asked worriedly. He hated when people did stuff for him when he didn't contribute at all. "Yeah, heh! Mind giving me a hand?" Andrew said, looking a bit sheepish. " Sure, what do you need help with? " He walked over to the kitchen counter, where Andrew was stirring the soup. "Well, I need some veggies chopped up AND I need some rosemary from the garden. You wouldn't mind doing that, right? Heh.." Ivan blinked a few times. " i wouldn't mind at all, actually. " Indeed he didn't; he was actually really glad Andrew had stuff for him to do. It would help distract him from the butterflies in his chest, or just make him think about nothing BUT Andrew. "Thanks. I need the veggies chopped first, then you can get the rosemary." Ivan nodded, and went over to the cabinet, but froze. " uh, Andrew? " He paused. "what's up?" " where's the cutting board again..? " Andrew just blinked a few times in silence. Crap.. I forgot to take it out! He thought to himself. "It should be in the counter next to the sink. Sorry... heheh. I meant to get it out earlier. Ivan laughed a little out of awkwardness. "Right, of course it would be there!..." Ivan grabbed the board and a knife and started cutting up the carrots first. Chop chop chop. . He started zoning out again. The repetitive motions, the knife hitting the wood, the fact that Andrew was so close to him... Then suddenly Ivan yelped.
