The very first day of Takashi’s new life began with a single, absolute objective: control.
The Legendary Master now simply his Grandpa knew that the world was becoming increasingly dangerous. With the global power dynamics shifting and greed blinding the hearts of Shin Warriors, distinguishing friend from foe was nearly impossible. If Takashi’s true identity or his apocalyptic power was discovered, he would become the ultimate target.
"Takashi," the Legendary Master asked, sitting across from the six-year-old. "Do you know how to use your power?"
Takashi looked up, his face blank. "What power?" he asked. "I don't have any power. That is why I am standing here today, having lost everything and everyone I loved."
The Master’s ancient eyes narrowed slightly. He immediately realized the truth: Hayato had never told the boy what slept inside him. The War Demon had focused entirely on training his son’s mind and character, ensuring he wouldn't grow up to become a monster. And Hayato had succeeded.
"I am not talking about your own power," the Master corrected gently. "I am talking about the power your father left behind for you. The power of the X-Rank Legendary Divine Spirit Wolf."
“NEVER!”
A monstrous, echoing voice suddenly roared inside Takashi’s head.
“I WILL NEVER YIELD TO A HUMAN!”
Takashi flinched, but he remained quiet, listening to the Master.
The old man explained the terrifying reality. The Wolf was sealed inside him. Because of Hayato’s flawless Seal Binding technique, Takashi could siphon and use a fraction of the Wolf's raw energy without the beast's permission. However, he was strictly warned never to draw too much. His fragile six-year-old body wouldn't be able to handle the horrific burden, and the Wolf could forcefully hijack his physical vessel, leading to absolute catastrophe.
The only reason Takashi had survived the five-year limit of the Black Box Prison was due to his unparalleled genetics. As the son of two Triple SSS-Rank Alpha Clan leaders, the laws of DNA Evolution dictated that his body was fundamentally denser and vastly superior to ordinary humans.
But it wasn't enough. To handle two apocalyptic powers simultaneously, his physical vessel needed to be trained until he possessed the strength to lift a mountain with a single hand.
The path ahead was brutally difficult.
Takashi listened, but his eyes were empty. "I don't want to learn this," he said quietly. "When I needed power... when I needed to prove myself to the people who were watching... to my family... I had nothing. Now that they are gone, I don't want it. I just want an easy, normal life."
The Legendary Master froze.
The only existence capable of saving the universe the boy whose birth had released a cosmic pressure that summoned ancient, terrifying entities from the deep system was refusing to fight. The apocalyptic darkness that the Black Dragon and its Yorishiro had brought 600 years ago could return at any moment, and this boy was their only hope.
The Master’s expression hardened. He spoke with a harsh, unyielding tone.
"You want a normal life? Have you forgotten how the world treated you? Have you forgotten the mockery, the disgust, the curses thrown at you just because you appeared powerless?"
He stood up and pulled a tall mirror from the corner of the room, slamming it down in front of the boy.
"Look at yourself. Look at why people don't judge you from your face anymore!"
Takashi looked into the glass.
His breath hitched. He froze in absolute, stunned silence.
The boy staring back at him was not the cursed prince he remembered. The mismatched eyes were gone, replaced by a pair of striking, brilliant, clear blue eyes. His half-black, half-white hair was now a canvas of pure, glowing white. The dark, horrific burn mark over his face had vanished. In its place, the Wolf’s intense regeneration had left a beautiful, intricate white glowing pattern that made him look ethereally handsome.
"If you want to survive," the Master continued relentlessly, "you must learn to use what you have. Otherwise, the world will crush you exactly as it did before! Your existence is not normal! Will you abandon the weak, just as you were abandoned? Will you let others suffer the way you suffered? Is this what your father taught you?!"
CRASH.
Every single word struck Takashi’s soul like a hammer. The boy’s fists clenched, his small frame trembling.
The Master’s tone softened. He walked over, resting a warm, heavy hand on Takashi’s white hair. He smiled gently.
"Do not let your father’s sacrifice be in vain. He fought the whole world for you. Only a madman would dare to face an X-Rank Divine Spirit directly, but your father crossed every limit to save your life. He put this power inside you so you could be the hope of the people. Are you going to mock his sacrifice?"
A memory violently ignited in Takashi’s mind.
“Be a light that guides people, or a shadow that helps them sleep. Do not be a light that blinds them, or a shadow that terrifies them.”
A spark of life returned to Takashi’s clear blue eyes. The emptiness vanished, replaced by an unbreakable, terrifying resolve. He had a purpose.
The training began immediately.
The Master explained the absolute fundamentals of Shin-Noa. Everything in the universe was built from microscopic particles atoms, containing the divine Gen-Shi. This primordial energy existed in all living things.
"You must feel it," the Master instructed. "Draw it into a Rhythm. Connect your soul to your physical vessel. But most importantly... you must suppress it."
Suppressing an aura was an incredibly difficult technique, usually reserved for S-Rank elites, because it constantly consumed the user's own energy just to maintain the illusion of weakness. But Takashi had no choice. He had to hide the Wolf's terrifying presence to remain a ghost.
"Close your eyes," the Master ordered. "Take a deep breath. Look inside yourself."
Takashi closed his eyes. He inhaled slowly.
Instantly, his consciousness was pulled into an infinite, pitch-black abyss.
Before him stood a massive, transparent, glass-like box. Inside it was a nightmare. The Legendary Divine Spirit Wolf. It glared at him with ancient, bloodthirsty eyes. A tiny crack in the glass allowed a violent, wild stream of energy to leak out.
Seeing the sheer terror of the beast in person for the first time, Takashi gasped, his eyes snapping open in pure fear.
The Master understood immediately. "Do not fear it," he reassured the boy. "Your father’s seal binds it. It cannot harm you. Try to make it your friend. You will get used to it."
“THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!” the Wolf’s voice violently echoed inside Takashi. “I have watched humans destroy the world in their hunger for power! I will never yield my strength to you! If anyone forces me, they will suffer the consequences!”
The Master, sensing the beast's psychic outburst, merely smiled. He knew the Wolf was lashing out in anger.
"Try again, Takashi," the Master said softly. "Focus on your goal."
Remembering his father’s sacrifice, Takashi closed his eyes once more. He plunged back into the abyss.
This time, the moment Takashi appeared, the Wolf erupted.
ROAR!
The beast forcefully shifted into its terrifying Pitch-Black Transformation its ultimate state of absolute power and rage. It threw its colossal weight against the glass, trying to mentally possess the boy and shatter his mind.
CLANG!
The Black Box Seal flared with divine light, brutally repelling the Wolf.
This time, Takashi didn't flinch. He stood his ground, staring fearlessly into the eyes of the beast. He ignored the Wolf’s rage and focused entirely on the leaking energy.
He visualized the wild Shin-Noa flowing into his veins, moving through his arms, his chest, his bones. He forced the chaotic power into a strict, controlled Rhythm.
FWOOSH!
In the physical world, a blinding, chaotic aura erupted around Takashi’s small body. The raw energy thrashed wildly, but slowly, the boy gritted his teeth and forced it to condense. The massive aura shrank, pulling tight against his skin, completely hiding his presence.
He had done it.
But the moment the aura stabilized, Takashi’s eyes rolled back.
THUD.
He collapsed to the wooden floor, completely unconscious. The physical strain of channeling X-Rank energy was too much for a beginner.
The Legendary Master laughed softly, a proud smile spreading across his wrinkled face. He gently picked the boy up. "Good job, kid. You proved you are truly your father’s son. Brilliant, patient, and full of courage. The road is hell... but I will be with you until my final breath."
He laid the boy on the bed and left to prepare a meal.
