Couther Clyne, a wizard whose unique magic manipulates time, is sick and tired of being on a seemingly fruitless crusade for The Goddess Of Time for the last thousand years. She granted him immense power in exchange for his soul—and now he’s seeking another way out of their pact. While tromping across the mystical continent of Tresvant, he is joined by an unlikely entourage: vengeful half-elf archer Imbol, righteous half-demon swordsman Bertio, new apprentice Joycie, and cult leader-turned-child Ocfort. Along the way, they discover dark forces are threatening several kingdoms, and Couther must learn to do what’s most against his nature: love.
