The industrial district of Westview was a skeletal landscape of rusted cranes and hollowed-out concrete. Laura landed silently on the roof of a sprawling textile mill, her Starlight Legacy armor shimmering in the moonlight. Unlike Victoria’s heavy plating, Laura’s suit felt like a second skin, but tonight, the Cybergem on her chest was pulsing with a jagged, agitated violet light.

Chapter 6: The Solo Breach
"Austin, I’m at the perimeter," Laura whispered into her comms. Instead of a helmet, she wore her high-tech domino mask, its lenses flickering with thermal data. Her hair trailed behind her, caught in the cold wind.
"I’ve got your vitals, L," Austin’s voice crackled, sounding tense. "But the interference is getting worse. There’s a sub-audible frequency bouncing off the walls in there. It’s the same Tick-Tok pattern from the center. Be careful."
The Gallery of Flesh
Laura slipped through a high clerestory window and dropped into the shadows of the main floor. The air inside was thick with the scent of ozone and expensive lilies.
As her eyes adjusted, she froze.
The warehouse wasn't empty. Lined up along the rusted looms were a dozen women. They were completely nude, their skin pale and glistening under the dim violet floodlights. They stood with a terrifying, military posture—shoulders back, chins tilted upward.
Every single one of them had their eyes rolled back into a milky, porcelain white. Their faces were fixed in identical, radiant, vacant smiles. They weren't moving; they were waiting.
"Austin... I found them," Laura breathed, her voice trembling. "They’re nude. All of them. They look like... like they’ve been wiped clean."
The Master’s Command
"Welcome to the showroom, Cybergirl," a voice drifted down from the mezzanine.
Mr. Puppet stood there, the violet light catching the silver of his hair. He wasn't looking at Laura; he was looking at one of the women standing near the center of the floor—a young girl, barely older than Laura, her white eyes staring at nothing.
"Subject 402, step forward," Puppet commanded.
The nude girl moved with a fluid, haunting grace. She didn't walk like a human; she moved like a machine, her bare feet making no sound on the concrete. She stopped directly beneath the Master’s balcony.
"The Hero is watching," Puppet purred. "Show her the rhythm of the silence. Masturbate. Find the Reset."
Without a second of hesitation, the girl’s hand descended. Her fingers began a frantic, rhythmic stimulation of her clitoris, her movements a shivering blur. Her vacant smile never wavered, even as her body began to shake with the forced, synthetic pleasure of the frequency.
The Snare Closes
"Stop it!" Laura screamed, raising her hand to fire a gravity bolt.
But as she focused her energy, the warehouse PA system let out a deafening, rhythmic blast.
TICK. TOK. TICK. TOK.
The sound hit Laura’s nervous system like a physical hammer. The Cybergem on her chest, designed to interface with her mind, suddenly became a conductor for the brainwashing signal.
"L? Laura! Your heart rate is skyrocketing! Get out of there!" Austin’s voice was a frantic scream in her ear, but it was fading, replaced by the beautiful, hollow hum of the Master’s voice.
Laura’s arm dropped. Her legs felt heavy, as if the gravity she controlled was now crushing her into the floor. She watched, a horrified passenger behind her own mask, as her blue eyes began to roll upward, the vibrant color being swallowed by the milky, porcelain white of the doll.
"There is no static here, Laura," Mr. Puppet whispered, his voice now echoing inside her own skull. "Only the Master. Only the silence."
Laura’s knees hit the concrete. Her hands, once ready to fight, drifted down to the seal of her suit.
