Chapter 2
First talk
Days passed. I’m still stuck with social anxiety to be social. And I did watch all those confidence videos. I guess I need to watch them again. When I watch them, suddenly my confidence rises. However, hours later, it goes down. Wew. It’s Tuesday today. We have dance/music/instruments in the last session. I picked dance as always. I have no idea how to pass the time until I can go home. We then went to dance class. Whoa, Rune picked dance as well? Well, from their discussion, she’s kinda confused about what to pick. We all took a seat near the teacher. Nobody wanted to sit with me, so I took the one near Marcy and Rune. Marcy was the girl who sat with Rune when she came first. The teacher was yapping with everyone, asking how our vacation was. I stood silent, smiling, cause I didn’t know what to say. I was staring at my watch, waiting for the time to pass so I could go home. Out of nowhere, Rune called me? Rune? Called who? Me? It was so awkward. I didn’t know what to say. So I casually introduced myself. And we started chatting, Marcy was still in the middle. She started talking about her life, and I shared mine. Soon, she lit up the room. It’s been so long since I talked to someone. “Do y’all know the Peppa Pig backstory?” Rune asked us. Well, I saw many videos on YouTube about it, but never clicked. I kinda know some of them, not all. “Well, kinda,” I replied. “It’s traumatising and horror themed”, said Rune. Then she started explaining the whole lore to us. Well, I had no idea about it, but I listened. I just loved that moment, so I just listened to hear. Then suddenly, I heard the bell ring. Whoa, this is fast. Time flies so fast, they say. Now I think that maybe the bell shouldn’t have rung so soon. I quickly took my bag. Rune and Marcy took their things too, and we exited. I had to run to catch my bus. “Well, bye, guys gotta catch the bus”, I said. “Bye”, smiled Rune. I then left for my bus.
After I caught my seat, I was thinking of my day today, with Rune and Marcy. It was kinda good. I smiled.
