I began looking around and saw that the hallway door connected to a common area, where a few grey couches layed, with a TV on a stand on the opposite side so that the TV was visible from the couch and a lamp near one of them. There was a door on the other end of the room and I walked towards it while silently observing my environment. There were paper wraps all over the floor and a few clothes scattered all over, clearly these guys didn't have any sense of decency. It seemed as if a tornado had hit.

Disgusted, I thank God that was was a dagger laying on the couch, which I didn't want to think about. I carefully used the dagger, which was in a surprisingly good state taking everything else in the room into account, to remove what looked like a pair of boxers, and the used kind at that, from the handle.

Well, at least I knew for a fact that they wouldn't care about me not been organized, which was a plus, but this much chaos was just too much, and this just just the common room. I shuddered thinking about what their bedrooms would be like.

As I turned the handle I found a small corridor with five doors, two at each side and one at the end labeled bathroom. The three other doors had names written on them: Jack, Orus and Mark. Only one door didn't have a name and I guessed that was mine.

I opened the door on the far right and found a cozy little space with a medium sized bed, a desk with a lamp and a chair nearby and a closet.

I left my bag on my bed and opened the closet to find three identical school uniforms. They were made of black leather shoes, a white shirt, deep blue trousers and a black jacket with a 6 points star insignia near the heart area.

Although I wasn't the biggest fan of uniforms. I preferred baggy clothes, even I had to admit it was pretty decent.

I went back to my bed and opened my bag. Then I took the clothes and ordered them inside the closet. After I had done that I picked the Cheetos and hid them inside the desk drawer, hoping that no one would find them.

All that was left was the toothbrush, so I took it and went into the bathroom. The room was relatively big, with one big bathtub which could easily fit two people, a small vanity and a toilet.

The vanity had a mirror and I looked at my reflection for a few seconds. My bright red hair, now only reaching my ears, my green eyes and my freckles made everyone assume I was from Ireland, but funny enough both my parents and I were from the USA. The vanity also had a toothbrush holding place were already three toothbrushes laid. Very grateful that they were all different colors I left mine there and retreated into my room.

I decided I would start with the room nearest mine, the one that read Jack, so I turned the handle, all my concentration on the front door just in case they returned and stepped inside. The moment I did a brutal magic spell hit me and I only had time to think 'Oh shit, shouldn't have done that' and I blacked out.

He led me to the common area where two other boys laid on the couches. One of them had brown, rich skin and black eyes and back hair. The other one was reading some book and his looks suddenly captivated me. He had beautiful amber eyes, light skin as white as snow and black hair. Out of the three of them he was the sturdiest by far, and I also guessed that he was the tallest. On the other hand, this guy, Jack was the skinniest of them all, which didn't mean he was skinny, just more so than the rest.

Once in my room I took my pijama out of my closet and, without taking the bandages off my chest, just in case, I learned long ago that paranoia is way better than regreat, I put on my pijama and hit the bed, exhausted after the long day.

I glanced at the clock and noticed it was only 6 of clock, a little too early to go to sleep so I checked my timeline and noticed that classes started at 8:00 everyday except for the weekend, when I didn't have any classes.

' Outrageous ' I thought. I was a noon/ afternoon person, not a morning person. Knowing myself and the fact that I hated waking up early I put no less than six alarms on my clock, each five minutes apart, starting from 7:00. I would've liked to postpone it a little bit but apparently breakfast was from 7:30 to 7:45 and if I couldn't normally stay awake if I woke up that early I didn't want to think how bad it would be without breakfast.

This was going to be hell. And as an added obstacle classes for the freshmen, who I and all my roommates were, because the academy didn't like mixing ages, again, weird, but not my problem, had already begun four weeks ago. Everyone would know each other and I would be the pariah, but I was used to it and besides I wasn't here to make friends.

The school map was fairly detailed so I thought I could make it to the classes just fine. As I was inspecting the map I started circling with a pen that had been laying on my desk along with a notebook and a few books that I supposed had to do with the different subjects I had all the spots that could hide the gem. After doing that for a while I decided to check them tomorrow and went to sleep.
