After a classroom incident, Sofia felt worse than ever.

Her body stayed weak. Her head throbbed.

Even walking home felt heavy, like her legs didn’t belong to her.

The voice…

Sofia.

It kept echoing in her mind.

That night, she didn’t try to use the power.

She just sat at her desk, diary open, staring at the blank page.

“I don’t understand anything…” she whispered.

The room was quiet. Peaceful. Normal.

But then—the second hand of her clock slowed.

Her breath caught.

Not again.

Her shadow on the wall moved before she did.

A soft folded paper appeared on the floor.

On it: a symbol — like a broken clock — and three words:

“Time chooses once.”
