"In the real world, no more souls are being pulled from that machine into this dimension. If you ask me, someone is acting as a shield. Down there, on Earth, someone is protecting the people, preventing them from being dragged here. To be honest... it’s the first breath of fresh air we’ve had in a long time."
The Real World – Chennai Police Headquarters
"So, you’re telling me that the machine inside that university is the sole cause for the 1,016 people currently in a comatose state?"
The Police Commissioner sat behind his desk, gripping a stack of documents. He looked up, piercing his gaze into Arun Vijay, who stood firmly before him.
"Yes, sir," Arun replied without hesitation.
The Commissioner leaned forward. "And how did you come to this conclusion?"
"Sir, every single one of those 1,016 unconscious victims visited the university specifically to see that machine. It is the only common denominator. Their last recorded activity before slipping into a vegetative state was visiting that site. The timeline is undeniable—the unconsciousness began immediately after their contact with the device."
"And your point is?"
Arun Vijay stepped closer, his voice sharpening with urgency. "Therefore, sir, we need to deactivate and seize that machine immediately. It’s a ticking time bomb for the remaining students and faculty. Most of the victims are students and professors; we are losing our brightest minds. There is no other way, sir. We must seize the machine now!"
The District Commissioner remained silent, his eyes locked onto Arun Vijay’s face, weighing the gravity of a decision that could change everything.
Satyam Institution of Technology, Chennai
A fleet of police cruisers screeched to a halt at the gates. Arun Vijay stepped out, his team moving with military precision behind him as they stormed into the college campus.
"Cut the power supply to the entire building. Now!" Arun barked.
Within seconds, the hum of electricity died. The lights flickered and vanished, leaving the hallways in a cold, artificial twilight.
The Principal rushed out, his face pale with confusion. "Officer! What is the meaning of this? Why are you conducting a sudden raid on my institution? What is the issue?"
Arun Vijay stopped and turned, his eyes hard. "There is an issue, sir. Your students have 'invented' a machine that is a lethal threat to public safety. We are here to seize it."
"What?!" the Principal gasped.
Arun stepped into his space, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "Why didn't you report this the moment people started falling unconscious?"
The Principal looked away, his voice trembling. "We... we were afraid for the college's reputation. We didn't want the scandal to break."
"I know this is one of the best institutions in the country, sir," Arun said, his tone dripping with cold disappointment. "But if you had spoken up sooner, all those people might have been safe. If you had just turned that thing off, we wouldn't be standing in this mess today."
The Principal fell silent, unable to meet Arun's gaze.
The police team located the Machine-Ex. They hauled the massive, glowing core out of the laboratory and loaded it into a heavy-duty container. A truck with Delhi license plates stood waiting; the core was locked inside, and the vehicle roared to life, beginning its long journey away from Chennai.
Arun Vijay watched the truck disappear into the distance. I hope this is the end of it, he thought. I hope no one else has to suffer because of this thing.
Inside the Ovul Dimension
"Who knows, Father?" Piecus said, his voice echoing in the cold chamber. "He... Demansion... might be watching us right this very second."
Ferran stood frozen, his brow furrowed. "What are you talking about, Piecus? I don't follow."
Piecus looked his father directly in the eye. "The Vessel of Demansion... is already here."
Ferran’s eyes flared with a sudden, lethal intensity.
Without a word, he surged to his feet, his movements explosive and predatory. He stormed out of the chamber, heading straight toward the area where Darshan, Chandu, and Sarunya were resting. Every soul in the mansion turned to watch, the air growing thick with immediate dread.
Ferran’s cold eyes locked onto Chandu like a predator identifying its prey.
Is this him? Darshan thought, his muscles tensing as he recognized the sheer power radiating from the man. This must be Mr. Piecus's father.
Viyog, seeing the lethal intent in Ferran’s stride, felt his heart sink. "Oh no... not now!" he hissed, sprinting toward his friends to intervene.
As Ferran closed the distance, Darshan didn't hesitate. He stepped forward, planting his feet firmly and shielding Chandu with his own body.
"Stop right there!" Darshan growled, his voice a low warning. "If you want him, you’ll have to go through me first."
Ferran ignored the threat, his gaze piercing through Darshan to stare at the boy behind him. "Is it you?" he asked, his voice like grinding stone. "Are you the Vessel of Demansion?"
Chandu remained silent, his head bowed, his spirit seemingly crushed under the weight of the accusation.
Piecus shifted into a combat stance, his hand moving toward his blade, ready to strike. But before he could move, Viyog threw himself between them.
"Piecus! Wait! Just stay calm for a second!" Viyog pleaded.
Piecus glared at him, his voice dropping into a chilling, cold tone. "Don't keep getting in my way, Viyog. My patience is gone."
Ferran watched the exchange, his eyes never leaving Chandu.
Darshan didn't flinch. He tightened his grip, ready for the fight of his life. "I don't care who you are," he declared. "You are not killing him. Not today. Not ever."
Ferran continued to glare at Darshan, the silence stretching until it became unbearable. Finally, he spoke.
"I didn't come here to kill anyone."
The masks of terror on their faces instantly shifted into looks of pure confusion.
"I have no desire to murder humans," Ferran continued, his voice steady. Then, he pointed a sharp finger directly at Chandu. "But you... the Vessel of Demansion. You are coming with me."
Darshan’s fear flared up again. He stood his ground. "No! Absolutely not! He isn't going anywhere with you. I won't let you execute him!"
Ferran’s expression didn't change. "My word is my bond. I told you I would not kill him, and I meant it."
Darshan hesitated, searching Ferran’s cold eyes for a lie. Finding none, he exhaled sharply. "Fine. But I’m coming too. I’m not leaving his side."
Ferran let out a weary sigh. "Fine. Follow me."
He turned on his heel and began to walk deeper into the mansion.
Piecus stepped up beside his father, whispering urgently. "Father... is this really the right move?"
"In time," Ferran replied cryptically, "you will understand."
They moved deeper into the cavernous depths of the stone mansion, descending through narrow tunnels and hidden passages.
Where is he taking us? Darshan wondered, his hand instinctively near Chandu as they followed the Reze Warrior into the dark.
As they rounded a final corner, a strange, ethereal emerald glow began to bleed out from a cave opening ahead. The light was unlike anything they had seen—pulsating and ancient.
What is that? Darshan thought, shielding his eyes.
They stepped into the final chamber and froze, completely mesmerized.
"God..." Darshan whispered. "What is this? It’s... it’s a perfect circle. It’s so bright... it’s blinding."
Chandu stared, the green light reflecting in his wide eyes. "It’s beautiful... but so intense."
Ferran stood before the glowing phenomenon, his silhouette dark against the brilliance.
"This," Ferran declared, his voice echoing with reverence, "is the heart of the Ovul Dimension. This is The Nobel."
Darshan and Chandu couldn't even blink. They stared at the core of their nightmare, realizing that the scale of this world was far beyond anything they had imagined.
To be continued...!!
