Chapter three: Why pacing is important
Pacing is important because if you don’t use it, people won’t really read your book/comic. Pacing is what makes stories beautiful and professional. I’m not joking, even a professional writer said this, and I quote, “Stories are much the same way [as a horse]. There are scenes that you want to race through, and others that require you to slow down. Basically David Farland is saying, “Pacing is knowing when to slow down or go fast.” See, even a professional writer recommends pacing. In conclusion, pacing is what makes stories make sense and not overwhelming. Pacing is knowing when to go slow and to go fast. So, for all you new writers out there, use this blog and read it to the very end. Always use pacing and never make your readers feel overwhelmed.
