The hallways of Seirin High School were loud as usual, but to Mira Seo, everything sounded distant, like noise underwater.

Students laughed. Lockers slammed. Phones buzzed with messages and gossip.

But Mira walked through it all quietly, beside Nemera Han.

A few days ago she would have kept her eyes on the floor. Now she looked forward.

Nemera noticed.

“You’re walking differently,” Nemera said calmly.

Mira glanced at her.

“Am I?”

“Yes.”

Nemera studied her face the way a scientist studies a strange reaction.

“You’re not afraid anymore.”

Mira thought about that.

Maybe Nemera was right.

Or maybe fear had simply changed into something else.

Across the hallway, a group of boys laughed loudly.

In the center of them was Jiho Kim.

Popular. Charming. Untouchable.

Or at least that’s what everyone believed.

Jiho leaned against a locker, scrolling through his phone with a smirk.

Mira knew the truth.

She had seen him secretly filming girls in the hallway before. Sometimes under desks. Sometimes when they changed during sports practice.

He kept the videos like trophies.

No one had ever exposed him.

Mira stopped walking.

“That one,” she said quietly.

Nemera followed her gaze.

“Jiho Kim,” Nemera said.

“You know him?”

Nemera shrugged slightly.

“I observe everyone.”

Mira crossed her arms.

“I want him to feel what they feel.”

Nemera raised an eyebrow.

“And what do they feel?”

Mira’s voice became colder.

“Small.”

Later that afternoon, they sat together in the library.

Sunlight poured through the tall windows, but their table remained in shadow.

Nemera opened her notebook, ready to start planning.

But Mira slid a laptop toward her first.

“I already started,” Mira said.

Nemera paused.

On the screen were folders.

Videos. Screenshots. Messages.

Evidence.

Nemera leaned closer.

“You collected all this… already?”

Mira nodded.

“I watched him for a week.”

There were clips of Jiho secretly recording girls.

But Mira had done more than that.

She had edited conversations.

Created fake messages.

Prepared anonymous accounts.

Nemera stared at the screen longer than expected.

“You’re fast,” she said quietly.

Mira smiled.

“You’re a good teacher.”

But Nemera did not smile back.

The next morning the school exploded with whispers.

Phones buzzed everywhere.

A video had appeared online.

It showed Jiho secretly filming a girl during practice.

Another post showed screenshots of messages where he bragged about it.

More posts appeared every hour.

Students gathered in small groups, staring at their screens.

“Did you see this?”

“Isn’t that Jiho?”

“That’s disgusting.”

Jiho walked through the hallway confused.

“Why is everyone staring at me?”

Then someone shoved a phone in his face.

His smile disappeared.

“That’s fake,” he said immediately.

But his voice sounded weak.

By lunch time, Jiho’s reputation was collapsing.

Students avoided him.

Girls whispered and glared.

Even his friends stepped away.

At the end of the hallway someone shouted:

“Hey Jiho, filming today too?”

Laughter exploded around him.

His face turned red.

“I didn’t do that!”

But nobody believed him.

From the staircase above, Mira watched everything.

Her expression was calm.

Almost peaceful.

Nemera stood beside her.

“You’re enjoying this,” Nemera said.

Mira didn’t deny it.

“He deserves it.”

Nemera looked at her carefully.

“Yes,” she said.

“But you’re enjoying it.”

Mira turned toward her.

“Don’t you?”

Nemera didn’t answer.

After school they sat in an empty classroom.

Nemera closed the door.

“You pushed too far,” she said.

Mira leaned against the window.

“You’re the one who taught me.”

Nemera frowned.

“I didn’t teach cruelty.”

Mira tilted her head.

“You said people deserve consequences.”

“Yes.”

“You said justice only works if they feel pain.”

Nemera froze.

Mira smiled gently.

“So I made sure he felt it.”

Nemera realized something uncomfortable.

Mira had remembered every word she had ever said.

That night Nemera opened her notebook.

She wrote slowly.
