Every day,

Every time,

Every emotion 

I bottle them up.

I worry about being too much,

Needing too much,

Taking too much time,

I worry about being a burden.

I hate asking for things,

Hate causing people more work,

More problems.

Yet I will always give more.

Always try harder for them.

Terrified that if I don’t always show up,

They’ll leave.

I’ll always show up for those I love,

Yet I’ll never reach out, even when I know I should.

All because I’m terrified of being a nuisance,

A burden,

Too much,

Too little.
