The room opened with a resounding echo that seemed to fill the house. The door was loaded with cobwebs, which once attached flowed freely in the air. “Oh gosh,” Anna said. “We shouldn’t have come to this abandoned house,” Jessica agreed. This house gave them the creeps and they were frightened. “No guys we shouldn’t explore more,” Andie said. The floor was well worn and looked like it could break any second. The dim light gave notice to the magenta peeling paint on the wall.
The silhouettes were once covered by pictures, but now covered by mystery and dust. The new air gave life to the stuffiness that entrapped the room. The room was faded and the torn of white sheets once covered new furniture now drowning in dust. The house was almost as old as a world war 2 veteran. “ This house is probably really old,” Andy said. “No doubt,” Jessica agreed. This house was a literal haunted house. Roaches marched on the floor, thinking it was their house.
The couch was ripped open and the fur was scattered all over the place. The house was as dusty as dead skin cells. The old lamp was crammed. The children dashed into a room after seeing a well fed mouse, who was fatter than a kitten. The mattress in the queen size bed was filled with fungus. It felt like vomit had evaporated from that room. The room had a sofa that looked like it had been sliced into two pieces. The walls were falling apart, making the room look much worse than it actually was.
”Let’s check the kitchen,” Anna said. Jessica and Andie both agreed. The second they entered the kitchen, each one of them gave a five second ‘ew’. The kitchen was repulsive. Cereal was scattered all over the floor. Food was everywhere. There were crisps all over the ground. Porridge in the pan smelled loathsome. The children couldn’t bare this house any longer. “I think it’s time to go before we faint,” Andy said. Jessica and Anna both agreed. All three of them sprinted out of that abandoned house.
