As they run, Lila bumps into a boy running in a hurry.
“Ow!” Lila fell to the ground.
“Ouch. Oh no, are you alright, madam?” The boy pulled Lila up.
“What a polite boy,” Lila commented.
“What’s your name, boy?” She asked the boy.
“My name is Milo Shaner and I’m searching for my sister. Have you seen her? She’s been missing for a month, and I have been searching for a clue of where she is,” the boy answered.
“We’re actually looking for someone too. Tell you what, since we’re looking for a missing person just like you...We would like to have you with us on our journey,” Veem offered.
“You want me to join you? Count me in,” Shaner said and accepted the offer.
“Welcome to the party. Let’s start asking everyone here if they knew where she was taken,” Pandora said.
Pandora asks a lady near the traffic light.
“You’re looking for a missing girl? Sorry, I don’t know where she was taken,” The lady replied.
“Hey Pandora! Over here!” Someone called. Pandora heads back to everyone.
“We found this man mumbling about Amy like crazy,” Chandellor said.
“Really? Tell me,” Pandora said. “Last night, I saw a girl dragged by....a monster!” The man said hysterically.
“Monster?” Pandora asked.
“Yes, monster! It looks like a big shadow with a fearsome look. Agh, the memory of its face is haunting me again!” The man shook his head.
“We better take him to my house. It’s not far from here, hurry!” Shaner said.
At Shaner’s house, the man mutters the name of the shadow.
“D-D-Dakurona!” The man screamed.
“What??” Everyone was shocked hearing the name.
“The dark guardian dragon...I thought Amy got rid of him,” Zoe said with thinking pose.
“He was born from darkness so he can’t be destroyed easily,” Pandora said, searching for the data in his memory.
“Hmm...We will need guidance from the one who has the ability to sense darkness,” Chandellor said.
“Don’t you have the ability to sense darkness, Chandellor? You’re one of Illuminator clan,” Veem said.
“I can sense darkness, but Dakurona is an exception. Remember, he was born from the darkness of the world so in his case, he is the hidden darkness. I can’t sense that kind of darkness. He can conceal himself from my sixth sense so before I knew it, he can ambush me in a second,” Chandellor said.
“Illuminator?” Shaner wondered what they meant.
“Illuminator is a clan with the ability to sense anyone hiding behind darkness. Dakurona is one of the darkness, but he can hide his presence better than most darkness monster. Dakurona is the master for sure,” Pandora explained.
“There is one who can sense the darkness. Phoenix!” Summoner said.
“Phoenix? We don’t even know where it lives,” Pandora said.
“Phoenix? You mean the fire bird?” Shaner asked.
“Of course, Phoenix is a fire bird. Don’t tell me you never read a book about it?” Pandora shook his head.
“Sorry, there is no such thing as Phoenix in this world,” Shaner said.
“Phoenix is real. I blame the ignorance of human for saying that Phoenix isn’t real,” Chandellor said.
“Not everyone can see Phoenix but we can,” Veem said.
“But could it be?” Summoner asked.
“He can’t be far. He flew around the Earth waiting for someone. I don’t know it’s motive but it can help us find Dakurona,” Chandellor said.
“Wait....you don’t think that Phoenix can disguise as human, right?” Shaner wondered.
“I wonder...,” Pandora wondered.
Shaner stood firmly.
“I guess this will be a crazy adventure,” Shaner said.
“I actually doubt if you would stay with us on our journey,” Chandellor said.
Shaner eyes starts to sparkle.
“Really? Are you trying to say that you guys are aliens?” Shaner asked when he realized who they are.
As soon as everyone heard that, Veem immediately closed Shaner’s mouth and shushed him.
“Shh....don’t say that out loud. We don’t want to cause trouble here,” Veem said.
Zoe had an idea.
“Ah, I know! We’re on Earth, right? Maybe we can use Earth’s technology to search for information,” Zoe suggested.
“Really? Okay, leave it to me,” Pandora said.
Pandora uses his AI to search for Phoenix by using technologies nearby to find it.
“Searching for target...,” AI voice said.
