Everyone in the village avoided Kala Jangal after sunset.

Not because of wild animals… but because the forest called people by their names.

One night, Ayaan heard his name whispered from the trees.

“Ayaan… come back…”

It sounded like his dead brother.

His feet moved on their own.

Inside the forest, the air was cold. The trees leaned closer, like they were listening.

Ayaan saw footprints in the mud—his own, but he hadn’t made them yet.

Suddenly, the whisper came again, closer this time.

“Ayaan… you forgot me.”

A shadow stepped out from behind a tree.
It had Ayaan’s face… but its eyes were empty and black.

The shadow smiled.
“This forest remembers everyone who enters,” it said.
“And it keeps one copy forever.”

The villagers say Ayaan returned that night.
But sometimes, when someone walks near Kala Jangal…

Two voices answer the same name.
