Short story premise:
Terrified of thunderstorms, young Echo discovers ghostly children in the storm clouds and must use his courage, cleverness, to bring them joy and calm the raging sky."
Afterword:
This short story was inspired by the imaginative worlds and whimsical darkness of Neil Gaiman. His ability to blend wonder, mystery, and the quiet courage of ordinary characters sparked my own desire to create a tale where a small boy faces fear, discovers magic, and finds bravery in the most unexpected ways.
