In the neon-drenched gothic city of Moonhaven, magic is licensed, prophecy is a prison, and the shadows are literally hungry.

William “Billy” Lightheart has spent eight months hiding behind a radiant mask.

By night he is Lightheart: the city’s mysterious vigilante oracle who wields the full emotional spectrum as weaponized color, barefoot and blazing, fighting an ancient Shadow that wants to swallow every dream Moonhaven ever had. By day he’s barely surviving on burnt pancakes and lies, terrified that the people he loves most will pay the price for his secret war.

Then the cathedral nexus explodes on live television, the mask comes off in front of the entire coven, and Billy’s carefully fractured life finally shatters into light.

Now seven queer magical renegades, The Prism, must become something the Council never allowed: a real team.

  • Solarian: the golden-armored leader whose oaths burn brighter than the sun
  • Tarot: the chaos-hearted trickster whose luck is as dangerous as his love
  • Runica: the ice-cold strategist who can rewrite reality with a few seconds at a time
  • Lifeforce: the gentle healer whose vines can stitch souls back into dying bodies
  • The Blade: the silent blacksmith whose blood forges weapons no enemy survives
  • The Lyric: the velvet-voiced bard who can weaponize a love song or a funeral dirge
  • And at the center of them all, Lightheart, the boy who burns with every color at once, trying to choose between the prophecy that says he must die alone and the family who refuses to let him.

But something older and crueler than the Shadow is collecting voices across the city, turning singers, poets, and lovers into hollow Wraiths. And it has its eye on the one voice that could break the world: Lightheart’s own.

A polyamorous, found-family, high-stakes superhero saga about chosen love, weaponized feelings, and what happens when seven broken prisms decide to become a single, unstoppable rainbow.

Moonhaven will never go dark again, because the light just learned how to fight back, together.

“Arrowverse glamour meets Shadowhunters heart with a queer, magical twist you’ll feel in your chest long after the last page.” Perfect for fans of The Magicians, Carry On, and Every Heart a Doorway who wished those stories had capes, throuples, and glitter bombs.
