 This story takes place in Chile during the early days of a military dictatorship, when fear ruled every school and household. When the General suddenly announces he will visit Holy Cross Academy, panic erupts: the boys have never learned the forgotten verses of the national anthem he demands to hear. With only minutes to spare, the priests must place all their hopes on one small boy whose voice might be the only thing standing between safety…and danger.
