Bruises were always my version of love. My first memory was my mom snatching me up so hard I hit my head on the counter. I don't remember my daddy but everyone said he was a good man. Amoura would say momma would walk around the house singing and laughing. It was like when my daddy died so did a part of my mother. My mother would beat the fuck out of me and then take me out to eat or something to apologize.
So when HE did it I'm not even gonna say his name because he doesn't deserve it. I thought it was what love was. Started off with a smack. Then he got me a diamond bracelet then he choked me for talking back and he cried. Made me feel bad. I had no friends no family just me and him. As the years went on it got worse. For the last two years I spent my life in that cage. He tortured me. Beat me with a belt burned me Tazed me. Some days I wish he would just kill me already.
Crimson was in the back seat with me just staring at me.
"Breathe Lovie." Crimson said.
"I'm gonna be sick can you pull over?" I said and chrome did and I went behind the truck and threw up. Crimson was right there next to me. He was rubbing my back and holding my hair up. I stood up and that's when it hit me everything just hit at once I didn't wanna be here no more I couldn't face my sister. I saw a car coming and went to walk in frontt of it. I was so close and crimson pulled me back had both of his arms bear hugging me. Chrome came out but Crimson told him get back in the car.
"I got you ma tell me what you want and I'll do it for you but you can't do that shit." He said and we were sitting on the ground.
"I don't want my sister to see me like this I just need one day. Please." I asked.
"Lovie. Amoura isn't gonna wanna hear that shit. She's been looking for you. I'll stay with you tonight." He said. I don't know why but that made me agree.
When I went to my sister's apartment. She took one look at me and broke down. I stayed strong and held my sister as she looked me over. She hugged me so tight I couldn't breathe. I asked to take a bath she offered to help but I declined I wanted a second to myself. It was like soon as my ass hit the water here came Crimson. He didn't look me over just sat on the tub scrolling on his phone. I just sat with my knees to my chest and rested my head on top of my knees. Next thing I know I feel him washing my body and I didn't stop him.
"I got you ma. Just stay with us for a while." He said.
