If only you could see me now… you would be so proud, I know it. Everything you dreamed for me, everything you believed I could become — it all came true. I’m a professor now, a dean. My students adore me — they even chose me as “Lecturer of the Year.” In my department, I started a student newspaper — a place for their voices and ideas, the kind of open space you always wanted to create. My colleagues respect and appreciate me. You would smile that gentle, knowing smile of yours and say, “I told you so.”
Our shared project — the one you never finished, the one you didn’t get to see — I completed it for both of us. Now it stands there, real and bright, born from your dream. When I look at that building, I imagine your eyes — shining with pride and happiness. You would be glowing.
