Arika? - I shook her body - Arika?!
- Someone poisoned her! - Amber exclaimed.
- The coffe! - Claudius pointed to the cup on the floor - There was a sedative in the coffee!
- Are you sure? - Sebastian seemed overwhelmed.
- How would anyone shoot a sedation dart without being noticed? - I asked him - Plus, Arika is a professional. She probably knows how to dodge such a dart.
Amber called an ambulance, which soon arrived. It was the same "flying" ambulance as the one we used earlier. Two robots jumped out of the vehicle's back door and put Arika on a stretcher. They carried her into the ambulance, with us following them. The ambulance picked the shortest route to the Hospital, which was obviously the nearest elevator. The pods were big enough to fit the ambulance. I noticed that the elevator ascended faster than before, likely due to the urgency.
We reached the Hospital and the two robots carried the stretcher to a nearby doctor's office, though it probably should be called an android's office, as we were met with a multi-armed robo-doctor with a red cross on its body. As he turned around, I noticed a total of five arms, each with a different attatchment. One of them was a syringe, which the doctor dipped in a test tube filled with a teal substance, presumably an antidote. The doctor swiftly injected the substance into Arika and waited in silence. Arika slowly opened her gray eyes, seeming disoriented.
- What's going on? Have I been kidnapped? - She muttered.
- No, you drank zolpiden, a common sedative. Do you have insomnia? - The robo-doctor suddelny approached her.
- Uhh... no? - Arika was distrustful to the machine, still mistaking it as an enemy.
- I'll let you recover for a few minutes and prescribe you vitamin D and magnesium - The robo-doctor's voice slightly glitched.
- I'm sorry, but I seem to have caught a cold recently. What should I use to cure myself? - Claudius asked.
- Magnesium and vitamin D - The robo-doctor replied calmly before leaving the room.
- Yeah, don't listen to him - Sebastian whispered to us.
- Good thing they didn't investigate my utility belt - Arika was recovering - I have explosives in there.
- What?! - Sebastian was in shock.
- Why are you so surprised? Explosives are very useful in the spy business. I always carry some - Arika responded. She sounded like she was talking about nice weather, not hidden dynamite.
- Anyhow, there was a sedative in your coffee. Someone tried to poison you. We quickly called an ambulance and that robot injected you with an antidote, I think - I recapped the situation.
- Oh, wow. I haven't even spent a day in here and I've already been poisoned! - Arika seemed weirdly excited.
- Isn't being poisoned a bad thing? Shouldn't you be concerned? - Amber asked, slightly surprised.
- Most of my missions are just sitting in front of a computer and writing code. Don't get me wrong, I love doing that, but I'm dying for action - Arika replied.
- Okay... - Claudius nodded.
- Could you bring me my tablet? I think I left it in my room - Arika asked. Before anyone managed to reply, she gave me the key to her room, because I was the closest to the hospital bed. Not wanting to waste any time, I rushed to floor 3A and learned that her room number was 1464. I guess the agency purposefully booked a room near our dorms. As I arrived and unlocked the room, I realised that it looked a lot like mine, but the lights were a neon green. On the table was a tablet, so I grabbed it and came back into the "flying" car that brought me back to the elevator. I came back to the Hospital, but stopped right in front of the android's office when I noticed the detective from earlier. He was wearing gloves and holding a test tube with a beige substance.
Suddenly, I recalled the video that showed the AI supervisor being ambushed. He drank some coffee before collapsing to the ground and being attacked. Upon realizing this, I ran into the android's office, heart pounding.
- What happened? Also, thanks for the tablet - Arika got up and grabbed her device.
- The detective guy was holding a test tube with a beige substance in it. The AI supervisor drank coffee before losing consciousness. I think that you've been sedated with the leftovers from that attack - I said that on a single breath. Arika gasped upon hearing this.
- Oh dear, that makes a lot of sense! - At the same time, she logged onto her tablet and opened an app.
- Nice deduction, Chris - Sebastian congratulated me.
At the corner of my eye, I saw Arika writing a program at such a speed that she might as well be faster than light. She opened some kind of log and sifted through the lines of code.
- I think I found something - She smiled. We all gathered around her again.
Unfortunately, I didn't know computer launguage, so what was written there was untintelligeble babble to me. The others didn't seem to understand it either.44Please respect copyright.PENANAS5L0wbUhIL
- To simplify, I remembered that all important staff members have holographic IDs with special numbers. I hacked into HISS's logs and searched for the supervisor's ID. That way, I know where he went, even after being kidnapped! - Arika explained.
We knew what holographic ID's were, since we had used them whilst infiltrating the Russian Moon Base on our previous mission.
- Excuse me, but how did you hack into the logs without anyone noticing? - Amber was skeptical.
- Oh, it's hilariously simple. I cut off the WiFi! - Arika smiled mischieviously.
- Buy you're going to turn it back on, right? - I asked.
- Of course, in fact, I can do it now. I already saved the important information - with that, Arika clicked something and then closed the program.
- So, where is the supervisor? - Sebastian asked.44Please respect copyright.PENANACEvOXuSKsh
- In the Junkyard, or floor 1 - Arika replied quickly.
- Wait, that's a restricted area! - Claudius exclaimed.
- So what? We'll just intrude - Arika shrugged.
