Anu Darling Good Evening

Hope you’re doing good and having a great time there! So here we are β€” the final hours of October, and honestly this month has its own Β
fair share of twists, drama, and some quiet recoveries too.
Let me start describing mine shortly to you πŸ˜…πŸ

Week 1 – Birthday Bells & Westside Tales 🎈 The month kicked off with a bang β€” it was Pragadish’s birthday on 4th(first sunday of this month) .You know him, right? My boy Peggy 😎
Β His office gang threw him a surprise party β€” like a full-on pre-booked room with lights, balloons, and all that jazz.Β
Β I had my own tiny plans for him, but his team literally hijacked him for the day.Β
Β Anyway, I still managed to gift him something β€” a shirt from Westside! Now here’s the shocker β€” I’ve never actually bought anything from Westside before. My sister’s a regular there,Β
Β  I’ve always tagged along with her and never shopped.Β
Β This time, I was totally impressed β€” their men’s collection was fire πŸ”₯ I even decided that when I start going back to office, I’m going full Westside mode β€” making H&M guys putting on the bench.
Β
Β Week 2 – Chaos & Calm πŸŒ€ Week 2 started with a bit of a dry spell. Family issues, small tensions β€” the usual. I was honestly wondering how I’d survive that phase.
Β But like every storm, this too passed. And then came one of the nicest surprises of the month β€” my sister started working from home! πŸŽ‰ Her previous Singapore project had her going to office six days a week β€” absolute madness.
Β But now she’s on this new project (funny enough, it’s a cigar company πŸ˜‚), and she’s actually enjoying it. She’s comfortable, the team’s great, and she’s finally at home more often.
Β And I’m not gonna lie β€” having her around changed the whole house vibe 😌 One more person in the mix, more noise, more laughter. Easily one of the best things about this month.
Β
Β Oh, and speaking of good things β€” I finally started wearing my new round specs πŸ•ΆοΈ You probably saw them on my story. I didn’t expect to love them this much, but I do. Instant confidence booster 😎
Β
Β Week 3 – Sweets, Shopping & Diwali Lights ✨

Β Now this week was Diwali week, so the entire vibe was chaos + happiness mixed together.Β
Β Me and my sister went full shopping mode β€” she went crazy with dresses, and I finally bought a new shirt after a year 😌
Β
Β It wasn’t too different from my usual ones, thing isΒ
Β I couldn’t buy new pants because my waistline keeps playing musical chairs πŸ˜… so...ennala new design shirts um perusaa.. try panna mudilaa.
Β But still, that Diwali shirt hit just right. You saw the pictures, right?
Β
Β
Β And oh my god β€” the sweets. Pattu, I legit ate way too much. My dad’s office sent boxes, my sister’s office sent boxes, neighbors sent boxes β€” sweets were just raining from every direction 🍬
Β I think I had at least 800 grams of kaju katli alone.Β
Β Not even kidding. But the best part? Most of it came free β€” which made it taste even better πŸ˜‚
Β
Β Week 4 – Fitness, Fixes & Fever 😷
Β
Β So around this time, i somehow convinced and made my sister joining a GYM, KG Fitness Studio. Initially, I wasn’t sure if she’d stick to it, but she surprised me.Β
Β She started loving it β€” the routine, the place, everything. Only issue, she couldn’t lift even 5 kg at first πŸ˜… She even cried once, saying, β€œI can’t even lift this much.”
Β But still, she kept showing up, i just told her that itself was a win.
Β
Β I'm actually taking care of all her diet plans..Prepping meals for her has actually been fun.
Β Doing it for myself is torture, but for someone else? It’s oddly satisfying. And she’s already improving β€” small changes, but visible ones.
Β
Β Then came the Diwali aftermath. I visited two of my friends β€” Deepak and Pragadish β€” to hand over sweets and gifts. But I couldn’t meet Cyrus this time. His house was packed β€” Sheryl’s sister and family had come down from Canada with their kids,Β
Β so he was completely tied up. We spoke though, and this week he called me over for a small favor. Poor guy had a knee band on his right leg πŸ˜… Spent some time with him, Sheryl, and Amara β€” it was short, but good. Felt nice to just sit and talk again.

Β And yes… the job struggle saga continues 🧠 I attended 3–4 interviews, but things weren’t clicking. The market’s weird, and the tech I picked up didn’t land me the right roles. Financially too, the month was a bit heavy β€” vehicle issues, small expenses piling up. But, somehow managed to stay afloat 😌
Β Now from November, I’m starting a new automation course β€” one that’s actually hot in the market. I’ve got 1.5 months to finish it and get interview-ready again. This time, I’m sure I’ll land something good....And this is my last shot!!😷 on getting a JOB
Β
Β Final Week – Sick Leaves & Soft Recoveries 🀧 And just when I thought the month was ending peacefully… boom β€” the entire family fell sick. Cold, fever, vomiting β€” name it, we had it πŸ€’ My dad was down for two days, mom wasn’t feeling great either, and my sister literally called from her office saying, β€œI’m in the wellness room, been sleeping here for three hours 😭
” She somehow managed to come back home early today. And me? I’m sneezing my way through this story right now πŸ€§πŸ’¨
Β
Β And that’s a wrap on October, darling πŸŒ™ Ten months into 2025, and I’d say this one was the month of clarity and quiet recovery. It wasn’t dramatic, but it was real β€” full of small fixes, silent joys, and a little peace that finally made sense.Β
Β So here’s to closing October on a good note β€” and opening the next chapter with calm hearts and cleaner slates β˜•πŸ’›
