I write for the thrill of leaving the real world and entering my own. I like power. I like having the power of knowing exactly what I want to happen, and making it work. I like control. I like being able to make the characters do what I wish them to do. I hate surprises. I know exactly what’s going to happen in my world. I hate not knowing what other people are thinking. I know exactly what all my characters are thinking about and their next moves. I love to watch peoples faces and hear their comments as they enter my world. In the real world, I don’t have much power, I don’t have much control, there are always surprises, and I never know what people are thinking.
