Hrid was a simple yet not so simple guy. He was 19...with an aspiring feeling to be better than the yesterday's him...Hrid was in a college studying Btech...with a never ending burning desire of being an IITian.... simply being IITian was the most prestigious tag for an engineering student in India...which was difficult but never impossible.
"Shut it out ,Hrid.. you too are a teen..." His friend Atharv said.
"Yeah just for few more months." Hrid sighed.
He mindlessly started scrolling instagram...while going home..
"So boring...duhh.... Wait wait....this account...umm..looks interesting....and Sanvi followed her too... let's see..."
He sent a follow request..
"So privacy huh?...let's see..."
Hrid waited.
Few hours went by...as Hrid was on his bed laying down on the bed listening to songs as he got a notification....when he looked at his phone...he saw...the girl has followed him back...
"Ahh..so she followed back huh...let's talk..."

"Are you from....CM.School?"
He got a reply..
"Yeah how did you know..?" She said..
"I studied there before moving out... I'm Hrid by the way"..

After hours of talking....he was glad that they became very close like he started treating her like his own sister...and Simi liked that too..as she always wanted a big brother...taking care of her ...but she was a single child....so she never got a chance...
Sometimes some strangers bring so much happiness that becomes a crucial part of our life...some may bring a turbulent storm making our life upside down but some may bring such a beautiful rain that they cause the flowers of our life bloom...Few relationships may not be about love between a girl and a boy romantically...but...it may be greater than that love...love is different among everyone...like it maybe love between a boy and a girl romantically ....a mother and a daughter.... siblings... friends or like two people more than friends..more like siblings from another mother...and Simi got that from Hrid....
As they talked they got instantly so close...that they felt like they already knew themselves since a millenium...
"Maybe I haven't got a lover yet...but a sister?...yes I have a lot... close? Maybe a few...but genuine..." Hrid said to himself..
"So tell something about yourself mister Alien" Simi said.
"An alien? Lol! Why so? Do I look like an other worldly creature?" Hrid replied.
"Nah it's just like... I have never seen any guy talking to me without any expectations of future about you know...yet"
"Come on Simi...you can trust me.."
And that was a lot for Simi...
"Trust"...a small word but very hard to apply in real...trust is very complex...which needs a lot of time to be built but needs a fraction of second...to be ruined like a house of cards...
Hrid smiled as he already knew that Simi wasn't buying that thing about trust as he messaged...
"I know it's not so easy to trust people so quickly...but once you feel the person can be trusted...and that person respected that...you will feel that not all people are bad in this world...but if that trust is broken... never blame yourself... because it's the good in you that saw goodness in the other person...so be happy and smile brightly "
