I just finished writing down (meaning I typed) all my specific rules and goals for my writing, generally regarding the stories. I have everything written from the few hundred characters to the names of settings to loglines and summaries, but I feel having the rules that were in my head written down before me can help so I know exactly how I apply it to myself as a writer, as well as my goals because that's what I am trying to achieve in the long run.
