**Song: This is Home by Cavetown**
When I woke up, I was startled. Nico, Will, and Solana were huddled around my bed, murmuring to each other.
"Geez" I try to make my tone say something like piss off or something equally as meaningful, but in the end it sounds like I'm tired. "What?"
"There is a predicament..." Solana's voice trailed off. The only thing I know is that this was going to be bad, and that meant I could finally get out of the infirmary. I began thinking what could have happened.
"Someone is calling out for help. Says the gods won't do anything for them. Typical." There was frustration creeping up in his voice. "We need to help them."
"Okay, so how do we go about this?" I asked, trying not to sound as confused as I really am.
"Well, first we need a prophecy from the oracle, who is currently not here." Will told me. Just like clockwork, this girl with red hair and paint splotches all over herself came into the infirmary.
"Rachel?" Nico's face has a mix of shock and happiness on it.
"I have" She was out of breath from running to camp. "a prophecy." Suddenly, green gas began to spew out from her mouth and eyes. Is that what happens when a prophecy is told? If so, is Rachel mentally okay? The prophecy started after a few seconds of green gas.
Hear the call that weaves through foam and sea and spell:
Circe’s distress, a voice from a captive shell.
The breakers answer, but not all shores will meet;
They’ll scatter like comets torn by wind and sleet.
One voice will face the witch’s snare, fierce and true, While kin are torn apart by tides that pull askew.
A narrow thread, a choice that seals their fate:
To trust the island’s whisper or betray the gate.
Speak the name that breaks the curse’s iron lie, And in the danger’s heart, a spark will fly.
From split dreams and shifting stars, the path is drawn:
Only by unity can dawn’s light be won.
Rachel collapsed onto Will, and so he put her on a bed. Wow. That was heavy. One voice will face the witch's snare? Only by unity can dawn's light be won? This is confusing.
"Well let's head to Chiron." Will said it like there was routine to quests. Was there a routine? Maybe even a checklist? It's probably just wishful thinking at this point.

After we saw Chiron, we went to pack our bags. We're leaving as soon as possible. I go to walk out the door when I hear Nico talking to someone via Iris Message.
"Percy, can you do me a favor?" Nico asked
"What is it?" Percy awaited an answer.
"We need a transport to Circe's island. Fast.
"As long as I don't have to see Circe." Apparently, Percy and his girlfriend, Annabeth, destroyed Circe's island the first time they were there and she was busy rebuilding it.
"Deal, we'll meet you in Manhattan aboard the S.S. Moonwalker." S.S. Moonwalker? What kind of cheesy name was that? I hear Nico hopping off his bed, so I shadowtravel away. Time to get this show on the road, right?
I pop up behind Solana. Not my goal, but hey. I'm just a girl you know?
"Boo" I whisper in her ear. She jumps and then turns around to see me.
"Why did you do that?" She practically yelled it at me. Will turned and gave us a funny look.
"Umm, you okay Solana?" Asks Will. Suddenly Nico did the same thing to Will. It was funny because Will jumped even higher than Solana. You think he would be accustomed to it since he's dating Nico, but no.
"Let's get on the road!" Solana said cheerfully.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Okay, well, I'm sorry Will."
"Wait, why?" Nico didn't answer. As he grabbed my hand, I realized he was shadowtraveling. As I begin to pull away, we are taken to the ocean. It was the shore of the Atlantic. Nico is collapsed on the ground next to me. I contributed to the shadowtraveling, so he shouldn't out for that long. I was tired, but not fully out.
"HEYYY!" I hear him before I see him. Percy Jackson is coming to shore, and fast. Will picked Nico up, walking out to the ship. When Percy shores, Solana and I go single file, me in back. He shows us to our rooms, and I take a quick nap.

I wake up around midnight, 3 hours later. It's the best sleep I've had in a while. I go out to the deck, hoping to look at the stars like I used to before my mom died. I lay down, gazing up at the shimmering stars above me. Even though my life has gone in many different directions, I can always count on the starts being there.
"Hey." I hear a voice to the left. Surprise surprise, it's Nico. "It's funny how we are only half siblings, but we are so alike. " I mean, even though it is true, I don't know if I want to hear that. I hate feeling like people can read me like an open book.
"I guess." I don't know how to respond other than that.
"Y'know, Will gets so mad at me sometimes because I'm 'too stubborn'. But then you came here, and now I'm not the only stubborn one." He says it in a lighthearted tone meant as a joke, and it gets a chuckle out of me. I can't help but feel like maybe he could be a cool brother.
"I guess I am stubborn. I just don't like the attention. I'd rather figure things out on my own, you know?" Somehow, he's getting me to open up. Honestly, I'm fine with telling him. He's my brother and all. If I make one friend here it's bound to be him. He shares my mind.
"We should get back to bed." Nico notes. I don't want to leave though. 114Please respect copyright.PENANAzJu4PuMTRJ
"I'll stay out here." I tell him. He leaves, and I search out constellations. There's Orion and Taurus, among others. I find myself drifting off into a dreamless sleep as I stare at the stars peacefully.
