I was looking myself over in the mirror wondering what was wrong with me. I have been on three dates with Malik and he has yet to try and kiss me or do anything more the stand next to me. I was starting to wonder if maybe I was missing reading the signs. I mean it's not like he's a fuckin chatty Cathy he keeps a lot of shit in and let's me do a lot of the talking. I mean sometimes I feel as though I'm talking too much. Like maybe he saw me as just a friend or something so I pushed Malik to the back of my head and went about my day. He would call and I would ignore him. I changed my schedule on him so he couldn't even time my shit out to run into me. I guess that didn't last because here he was outside my house blocking my car in.
"I was gonna hide in your trunk but I'm trying to be a changed person." Malik said.
"Stone just moved so I can get to class." I said. I knew that was gonna make him mad because he hated when I called him Stone. He jumped out the car and slammed his door making the whole car shake. Stone might have scared other people in the world but he ain't scared me at all I don't care how big he thought he was.
"What did you just call me?" He said towering over me."
"People out here might be scared of you Stone but I'm not I don't care how big you think you are." I said standing on my tip toes.
"Get in the truck Nyla. I'm taking you to class." He said.
"I don't have time for this Stone. You are gonna make me late for class." I said. He hit the top of my car with his hand.
"Call me stone one more time Ny. Get in the fuckin truck." He said softly. I huffed and got in his big ass truck. I was little so it took me a second to get in. I finally got in and he took off like a mad man.
"Why you playing with me?" He asked.
"I'm playing with you? Okay." I said.
I been calling your phone and showing up at all your jobs even your school had to let the receptionist suck my dick to even get your school schedule." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sure you did." I said.
"Why are you acting like this? I thought we had a nice time." He said.
"Yes so did I then I went home and you patted me on the head." I snapped. "Like three dates and you haven't tried nothing."
"I'm trying something new. I wanna get to know you feel you out. See if this what you really want." He said.
" See if this what I really want okay. You know what I might as well tell you this since this might be the last conversation we ever have." I snapped as we pulled up to my school.
"Nyla if you tell me it's somebody else we gonna have a problem." He said and I rolled my eyes again.
"No ain't nobody else because it's never been anyone I'm a virgin Malik. For a slight moment I thought maybe you were the one but I see you just think I'm like every other woman you ever met. Fuck you Malik." I said getting out of the car and slamming the door.
