Hairstyle:
Lily and Adrien were heading towards Master Fu's Massage Shop. Adrien was slightly nervous on meeting the said man. The said boy was luckily able to sneak out without his father noticing.
"So who is this Guardian that we're meeting?" Adrien asked.
"I've been trained by him for the last few months. Don't worry, we can trust him." Lily assured him.
"I'm still in the process of how we unknowingly knew each other behind our masks." Adrien commented.
"I know, right?" Lily teased.
"Yeah, yeah, blondie here wouldn't stop gushing about both of your identities, Lily." Plagg complained.
Lily's brow arched, "Oh really?" She teased.
Adrien blushed at Plagg's words, "Plagg!"
Plagg shrugged, "What?"
Wang Fu's Massage Shop
Fu is meditating with his eyes closed.
"Master, are you okay?" Wayzz asked the elderly man.
"They're here." Fu responded.
Just then there was a knock on the door and Wayzz flew off and sat by phonograph.
Lily knocks on the door before entering with Adrien, smiling when she saw Fu in the room. Fu opened his eyes and smiled at the two.
"Hello, Lady Scarlet, Cat Noir." Fu greeted the two heroes.
Lily nodded at him. "Hello, Great Guardian."
As she and Adrien entered the room with Tikki, Trixx and Plagg, the door closes behind them on its own.
"So, you're the Guardian of the Miraculous?" Adrien asked, pointing at Fu.
"Indeed." Fu guides the duo to the phonograph and uses the code which unlocks access to the Miracle Box, making Adrien gasp, "I am the last known member of the Order of the Guardians."
"I'm Wayzz, Master Fu's Kwami. It's a pleasure to meet you, Adrien." Wayzz greeted.
"It's nice to meet you as well, Wayzz." Adrien greeted back.
Tikki and Trixx came out of Lily's purse to play with Wayzz and Plagg.
"So what are Guardians made to do?" Adrien asks Fu.
Fu grabbed the Miracle Box. "We Guardians are responsible for protecting and distributing the Miraculous, for the good of all humanity."
The lid of the box opened to reveal the Bee Miraculous.
"We are chosen in childhood and trained for many years, especially for this mission. When we were much, much younger, we..." Fu sighs. "I made a mistake. The guardians' temple was destroyed, all because of me! Two of the Miraculouses were lost that day. The Butterfly and the Peacock. Also gone forever was the ancient spellbook."
"The book had pictures of ancient superheroes and a bunch of strange, coded symbols." Adrien said, remembering the book that he took from his dad's safe.
"Not strange to a Guardian," Fu closed the lid of the Miracle Box and put it back in the phonograph. "Back in the days, I was never given the opportunity to even have a look at it, but I've been taught enough to be able to partially decipher the code." He took out his tablet and showed the pictures of the Grimoire.
Adrien was surprised by that statement. He didn't know the Guardian already had the pages of the book.
'Lily must have sent him those pictures.' Adrien thought.
"These pages contain various spells capable of giving Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir special abilities we haven't known about, until now! Obviously, this book is invaluable." Fu stated.
Fu is reading the Miraculous spellbook on his tablet while Tikki, Trixx and Plagg were chasing Wayzz through the air in circles around the room.
"I've always believed that whoever possessed this spellbook must also have the Peacock and the Butterfly Miraculous." Master Fu remarked, breaking the silence.
Adrien's eyes widened in horror. "Wait a sec, you mean whoever owned the spellbook could be Hawk Moth?!" He exclaimed in horror.
Curiosity piqued, Master Fu turned to face Adrien. "How did you discover this book, Adrien?" Master Fu asked.
"It was in my father's safe." Adrien explained.
Master Fu closed his eyes solemnly, a hint of regret in his voice.
"That would make sense. I'm sorry." Master Fu said.
Adrien, wanting to give his father the benefit of the doubt, asked, "Is it possible that he could have the book, but not the Miraculous?"
Master Fu nodded thoughtfully. "It is possible." He replied.
"We could investigate if you want." Adrien offered.
Master Fu placed the tablet down on the table, his expression grave.
"But you must be very careful, you two. If you succeed, you may well find yourself face to face with Hawk Moth." Master Fu warned.
"We'll be very careful, I promise." Adrien assured him.
With a resolute nod, Lily and Adrien stood up and left the shop, Tikki, Trixx, Plagg following closely behind them.
Random Rooftop
Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir were leaping across the rooftops. But Cat Noir stopped on a random rooftop and Lady Scarlet landed beside him.
"Cat, is something wrong?" Lady Scarlet asked.
Cat Noir let out a sigh, "Do you think that he's really could be Hawk Moth, Lady Scarlet?" He asked, referring to his father.
"Well, he seems like the most logical choice. Gabriel Agreste is a secretive man who never leaves his house. And take a look at his brand logo..." Lady Scarlet takes out her yo-yo and images of Gabriel's fashion design logos appear on the screen.
"A butterfly?" Cat Noir probed, stunned. He then has flashbacks of the butterfly patterns on inside his house and is crestfallen after thinking about it.
"Hey," Lady Scarlet put a hand on her cat partner's shoulder. "You okay?"
Cat Noir turns away. "It's time to get to the bottom of this." He replies with grim determination.
The Miraculous duo leaves the rooftop to go and investigate the Agreste Mansion.
Meanwhile, The Collector watches them from behind an angel statue. "My plan is working perfectly!"
Agreste Mansion - Gabriel's Atelier
Lady Scarlet gasped when she saw many broken pieces of furniture as they come to investigate. "Whoa, what happened here? Looks like somebody had a little tantrum."
Cat Noir sees his drawing of him and his family that was thrown on the floor by his father. His heart aches with sorrow.
Lady Scarlet quickly opened her yo-yo and took out the Horse Miraculous. Kaalki was about to speak but Lady Scarlet placed a finger on her lips, gesturing her to be quiet. The two looked around the room for a second and then Lady Scarlet took off the Horse Miraculous and put it back in her yo-yo. She notices Cat Noir staring at the drawing on the floor.
Lady Scarlet becomes empathetic and goes over to him. "Are you alright?" She puts her hand on his shoulder, squeezing it.
"Y-Yeah... Yeah, let's keep going." Cat Noir replies.
The heroes exit the atelier and run into the foyer only to see The Collector at the top of the stairs.
"Where's Gabriel Agreste?!" Cat Noir demanded to know.
"There is no more Gabriel Agreste. There is only... The Collector!" The villain throws his notebook toward Lady Scarlet, trying to trap her inside of it; but she manages to dodge the hit, which leads the notebook to trap the mansion entrance door instead.
The notebook heads back the way it came, towards Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir. Lady Scarlet pushes Cat Noir to the stairs before the notebook manages to touch them as it went back to The Collector's hand.
Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir flip away before getting out their weapons.
"You won't be able to escape!" The Collector proceeded to fight the heroes until they ran away into the large dining room.
"Wait!" Lady Scarlet cries as Cat Noir throws his baton at The Collector only to have it trapped inside his notebook, which causes the superheroes to gasp.
"Nice piece, wouldn't you agree?" The Collector throws his notebook at the two.
However, Cat Noir throws a chair at it, which gets trapped inside it as well. Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir continue running away back into the main hall while The Collector growls and erases the trapped chair inside his notebook.
Meanwhile, Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir had hidden behind the banister of the stairs.
"The Akuma's gotta be in that book!" Lady Scarlet remembered.
"Yeah, but if we touch it, we'll disappear!" Cat Noir replies.
"Lucky Charm!" Lady Scarlet acquires a set of pedals. "A pedal?" She uses her Lucky Vision to figure out what to do with the pedal but sees nothing. "I have no idea what to do with this. We need to stall him."
The Collector uses his notebook to make the staircase the heroines were hiding behind of disappear. "Lady Scarlet and Cat Noir, you shall be the masterpieces in my new book of inspiration!"
The fight continues with the trio trying to avoid getting touched with the Collector's notebook. The Collector grunts when he vigorously tries to touch Cat Noir with his book but fails as Lady Scarlet's yo-yo had held his wrist back.
Lady Scarlet then yanks the book out of his hand and dodges it when it comes flying towards her. She jumps away when The Collector attempts to punch her. She ducks when the book comes flying towards her again and The Collector grabs it.
The fight resumes again, and Cat Noir kicks the notebook away from his hand, but the Collector kicks him away and jumps up, trying to reach for his notebook. Lady Scarlet's yo-yo wrapped around his ankle, causing him to crash to the floor as his notebook fell to the floor as well.
However, the Collector telekinetically grabbed his book before trapping Lady Scarlet's yo-yo inside, causing her to yelp as the loss of her yo-yo string throws her off-balance.
"My collection's growing!" The Collector commented.
'Sh1t!' Lady Scarlet cursed internally. She jumped over the notebook the villain had thrown at her and landed by Cat Noir.
The duo jumped up to the second floor as the notebook came sailing at them.
"So that must mean... Gabriel Agreste can't possibly be Hawk Moth, since he's been akumatized!" Cat Noir exclaimed excitedly.
"That's good news I guess." Lady Scarlet commented.
The railing the duo was hiding behind vanished since The Collector had trapped it in his book. They rush up to Adrien's room and barricade the door with multiple items to keep the Collector from getting in.
"Do you have a plan now, M'lady?" Cat Noir asked.
"Yeah. We just have to fill all the pages in his book. Then the book will be useless." Lady Scarlet uses her Lucky Vision again and spots a bookshelf of CDs above, the foosball table, and Cat Noir's belt, "We'll need some ammunition. I'll need your belt."
Cat Noir looked up at the bookshelf of CDs above and then turned to Lady Scarlet, "Got it." He took off his belt and handed it to her.
Just then the door opened to reveal The Collector on the other side of the items. "You cannot escape from me!" He cackles as he makes the objects blocking his way disappear. He breaks in and tries to capture Cat Noir in his book, but he jumps away. The villain then saw Lady Scarlet hide behind the TV.
"Before I immortalize you, allow me to seize your Miraculous for Hawk Moth." The villain says.
"Gosh, can't he get off my back?" Lady Scarlet glared at The Collector as she jumped away from the TV and onto the railing of the second floor, The Collector following behind her. She leaps next to the Foosball table while Cat Noir began fighting The Collector.
It wasn't long before The Collector was thrown into the rock-climbing wall by Cat Noir.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir yelled. He uses his Cataclysm on the bookshelf, causing a load of CDs to fall to the floor.
Lady Scarlet attaches the pedal along with Cat Noir's tail to the Foosball table to create a makeshift device and directed it at The Collector. "Ready kitty?"
"I'm always ready for you M'lady!" Cat Noir replied flirtatiously.
Lady Scarlet blushes.
Meanwhile, The Collector gets up.
Cat Noir throws down a load of CDs and Lady Scarlet uses the makeshift device to fire numerous CDs towards the Collector as he approaches her, capturing the CDs, thus neutralizing the pages inside his notebook.
"Come on! Come on!" Lady Scarlet gritted her teeth, seeing that the villain was getting closer to her.
"No more ammo!" Cat Noir informed.
Lady Scarlet took the pedals off the foosball table just as The Collector captured inside his book. Lady Scarlet backed away from him as he closed in on her. She closes her eyes while the villain touches her with the book.
The Collector looked at his book. "It's already full!" He stated, flipping through the pages of the CDs.
Taking the opportunity while he was distracted, Lady Scarlet kicks the book out of his hand Cat Noir grabs it.
"My book!" The Collector ran towards the cat hero to get his book, but he had already thrown it towards Lady Scarlet. "No!"
"Yes!" Lady Scarlet smirked at him before she ripped the book in half, releasing the Akuma. "Miraculous Scarlet!" She throws the set of pedals into the air, and its energy returns everything back to normal, including returning her and Cat Noir's weapons.
"Oh no you don't!" you filthy Akuma!" Lady Scarlet opens her yo-yo and catches the Akuma with her yo-yo. "Gotcha!" She releases the purified Akuma. "So long, butterfly."
The Collector falls to the ground and reverts back into Gabriel Agreste.
Cat Noir rushed to Gabriel's side, "Are you okay, Faaa... sir?" He inquired.
"Cat Noir, Lady Scarlet, what happened to me?" Gabriel asked as Lady Scarlet walked up to him.
"Thank you, thank you, both of you!" Gabriel gasps upon realizing that his son is nowhere to be seen. "Adrien!" He slides the bathroom door open. "Where is my son?!"
"Heee... must be hiding!" Cat Noir replied.
"Cat Noir's right, otherwise, your son would have reappeared right here." Lady Scarlet said.
"Nothing must happen to him. He's too precious to me," Gabriel puts his hands on the shoulders of Cat Noir, who gazes at him, smiling.
Lady Scarlet's earrings beeped just then. "We're about to transform back," She warned her partner. "We'll be seeing you, Mr. Agreste," She waved at him before running towards the window.
"Don't worry yourself, sir. I'm sure your son is safe and sound." Cat Noir assured before running towards the window as well.
Lady Scarlet swings out of the room while Cat Noir vaults out with his staff.
Gabriel smiles maliciously to himself. "See you very soon!"
Fu's Massage Shop
Tikki, Trixx, Plagg and Wayzz are playing with the phonograph while Lily and Adrien are being consulted by Fu.
"So, since Gabriel Agreste was Akumatized, he can't possibly be Hawk Moth, right?" Adrien asked the elderly man.
"That seems highly likely." Master Fu nodded.
Despite his assurance, Adrien can't shake off the nagging thought that his father might still be Hawk Moth in some way. Adrien then frowns to himself. For Lily, she already knew that Gabriel is Hawk Moth. Gabriel got Akumatized in order to cover his tracks.
"In the meantime, keep trying to fight against Hawk Moth's Akuma. Perhaps one day, we'll be able to find out who he is and retrieved the Butterfly Miraculous. Hopefully, the Peacock as well." Fu advised.
Lily and Adrien glanced at each other for a moment and nodded their heads, "We will." They agreed in unison.
Fu nodded, "Good."
"Well, we better get back before your father gets a heart attack for being missing for long." Lily suggested.
"Right." Adrien agreed.
The two stood up to leave. Tikki, Trixx and Plagg went back over to their holders.
"See you later, Master Fu." Lily slightly bowed to him.
Adrien bowed to him as well.
"I'll wait for next visit." Fu said.
Then Lily and Adrien soon left the shop.
Master Fu stared at the door. Wayzz floated over to him.
"Master?" Wayzz asked.
"Gabriel is Hawk Moth." Fu replied.
"Are you sure?" Wayzz questioned, shocked.
"No doubt about it," Fu confirmed and let out a sigh, "But I'm afraid that I shouldn't interfere."
"Why?" Wayzz inquired.
"I believe that Lily will be able to help Adrien stop his father. Hopefully, retrieve the two Miraculouses." Fu stated.
"Let us hope so, Master." Wayzz prayed.
"Me too, Wayzz. Me too." Fu agreed.
Hawk Moth's Lair
Gabriel opens up the small white box where the Butterfly Miraculous is stored, and Nooroo flies out of the brooch.
"Happy to see me again?" Gabriel inquired.
"At your service, Master." Nooroo says.
Gabriel puts on the brooch. "Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!" Gabriel yelled out his transformation words as his butterflies coated his form.
Nooroo is absorbed into the Miraculous brooch, and Gabriel transforms into Hawk Moth and grunts ferociously.
"Lady Scarlet, Cat Noir, you almost managed to find out who I am; but now I am more above suspicion than I've ever been. As of today, nothing will prevent me from getting your Miraculous, and making my greatest wish come true! All I need to do now is wait for my next prey."
