The arena had become a maelstrom of elemental energy. Jagged chunks of earth floated midair, torrents of water collided with gusts of wind, and arcs of fire and lightning streaked across the shattered stone floor. The four prodigies—Koha, Rio, Yin, and Huo—moved like living weapons, each calculating every strike and counter with precision.
Koha steadied himself, lavender eyes scanning for openings. His mind raced, analyzing every movement and magical pattern. The initial clash had tested his defenses; now he needed to take the offensive, but strategically.
Rio moved first, a blur of lethal motion. He cast 화염 베기 Hwanyeom Begi – Flame Slash, a streak of fire toward Koha. Reacting instantly, Koha summoned 氷結の矢 Hyōketsu no Ya – Arrow of Ice, jagged shards erupting from the arena floor to intercept the attack. The collision sent sparks flying, shaking debris across the arena.
Without hesitation, Rio executed 번개의 춤 Beongae-ui Chum – Dance of Lightning, slicing arcs of electricity from multiple directions. Koha countered with 大地の拳 Daichi no Ken – Fist of the Earth, rocks launching upward to absorb the strike. The impact resonated like thunder, sending tremors underfoot.
Yin intervened, casting Vague Enchaînée – Chained Wave to restrain Koha’s movements while simultaneously launching Illumination Céleste – Celestial Illumination, a concentrated burst of radiant energy. Koha responded with 流水の刃 Ryūsui no Yaiba – Blade of Flowing Water, sweeping through the arena to redirect the energy harmlessly.
Huo advanced steadily, summoning Tormenta de Hierro – Iron Storm, a spinning whirlwind of metallic shards. Koha evaded by casting 疾風の突 Shippū no Totsu – Gale Thrust, propelling himself backward with a strong gust of wind and narrowly avoiding the slicing storm.
The professors leaned forward, eyes wide. “He’s adapting instantaneously… reacting to multiple attacks at once… at this age, this is unprecedented.”
Koha’s confidence grew as he recognized patterns in the attacks. He launched 火焔の矢 Kaen no Ya – Arrow of Flames at Rio to force him back and followed immediately with 氷河の牢 Hyōga no Rō – Glacial Prison, freezing part of the arena floor to limit Rio’s mobility.
Yin attempted another restraint with Vague Enchaînée – Chained Wave, but Koha activated 氷の鎧 Kōri no Yoroi – Armor of Ice, using it as a springboard to leap into the air and evade the bindings.
Huo responded by reinforcing the frontline with Escudo Inquebrantable – Unbreakable Shield and Muro de Fuego – Wall of Fire, redirecting Koha’s attack energy and maintaining stability for his allies. Koha countered with 旋風の壁 Senpū no Kabe – Whirlwind Barrier, deflecting assaults and creating space for another strike.
The arena trembled violently. Ice clashed with fire, water collided with wind, and lightning arcs tore across the air. Dust and debris swirled into chaotic patterns, leaving students and spectators breathless.
Koha raised his focus, casting 紅蓮の嵐 Guren no Arashi – Crimson Inferno Storm, a sweeping torrent of fire aimed to push back Rio and Huo simultaneously. He then activated 翼の疾走 Tsubasa no Shissō – Wings of Sprint, moving at incredible speed, appearing unpredictably across the arena to maintain offensive pressure.
Rio countered with 불꽃 회오리 Bulkkot Hoeori – Flame Whirlwind and 바람의 질주 Baram-ui Jilju – Wind Sprint, striking from multiple angles. Koha’s response was 癒しの波 Iyashi no Nami – Healing Wave, sustaining his energy while continuing to manipulate the battlefield.
Huo reinforced the front with Muro de Piedra – Wall of Stone, deflecting a strike while executing Golpe de Titán – Titan Strike, attempting to destabilize Koha’s footing. Koha leapt backward, avoiding full impact with 疾風の突 Shippū no Totsu – Gale Thrust, landing lightly on his feet.
Professors’ eyes widened with disbelief. “He’s controlling multiple elemental forces, countering attacks, and repositioning at will. If he escalates, the arena might not hold…”
Koha pressed his advantage. He cast 閃光の矢 Senkō no Ya – Arrow of Flash, a blinding projectile that forced Rio to stumble momentarily. Simultaneously, 蔦の束縛 Tsuta no Sokubaku – Vines of Binding erupted from the arena floor, attempting to restrain Rio’s movement.
Yin reacted swiftly with Bouclier de Lumière – Shield of Light to protect Rio and maintain balance, while Huo used Fortaleza de Acero – Steel Fortress to stabilize the arena and redirect energy.
The arena quaked with each strike and spell. Koha had showcased strategic elemental mastery, the team had demonstrated coordinated attacks, and the professors were now visibly stunned. The tension was palpable; everyone knew the next escalation could push Koha beyond control.
