Kneeling on the ground, drenched in blood, dust, and sweat, his breaths ragged yet steady, he slowly raised both hands. Each motion was deliberate, ritualistic, and precise. A trembling of raw energy seemed to emanate from him, a pulse that resonated with the broken stones beneath him.
As his fingers traced arcs in the air, the ground responded. Thin cracks formed first, glowing faintly, then brighter, spreading across the arena like veins of molten light. They expanded outward, forming the outline of a circle so complex it seemed impossible, its edges pulsing with crimson and gold light. The energy was alive, almost sentient, reacting to Koha’s emotional state.
The Four hovered around the perimeter, maintaining their divine silver seal, their hands outstretched, chanting in unison, holding Koha in place with radiant chains of light:
天と地を縛り (Ten to chi o shibari) – Bind heaven and earth
魂と肉を封じ (Tamashī to niku o fūji) – Seal flesh and soul
虚空を鎖となし (Kokū o kusari to nashi) – Make the void itself chains
今ここに禁忌を断つ! (Ima koko ni kinkī o tatsu!) – Here and now, sever the forbidden!
Even under such restraint, Koha did not falter. The crimson circle beneath him pulsed faster, rotating, twisting, seemingly alive and resisting the chains. He lowered his head slightly, his lips trembling as he whispered the first syllables of his ancient, forbidden spell:
血を以て誓い、魂を以て繋ぎ、時空を裂き、命の輪を繋ぐ… (Chi o motte chikai, tamashī o motte tsunagi, jikū o saki, inochi no wa o tsunagu…) – With blood I swear, with soul I bind, tear through space-time, link the circle of life…
The lines of the circle flared, arcs of energy cracking across the arena. Lightning-like pulses arced from the cracks toward the resurrected bodies around the field. Each surge of energy carried life back into veins that had long been still.
生者よ、死者よ、我が手より再び歩め… (Seisha yo, shisha yo, waga te yori futatabi ayume…) – Living ones, dead ones, walk again from my hands…
Koha’s chant rose, layering itself, echoing in multiple octaves, vibrating the air, the stone, the hearts of all who stood nearby. The resurrected beings blinked, gasped, and stumbled as their hearts began to beat anew, their lungs drawing air once more. They were alive again — truly alive, not puppets, not shadows, but fully restored humans.
終わり無き輪を巡らせ、天地を穿ち、虚無の裂け目より命を呼び覚ませ… (Owari naki wa o megurase, tenchi o ugachi, kyomu no sakeme yori inochi o yobisamasu…) – Spin the endless wheel, pierce heaven and earth, awaken life from the void’s rift…
The Four’s seal trembled under the pressure. Silver light arced downward from their hands, connecting to Koha’s wrists, shoulders, and chest. The chains creaked, pulsing with divine energy, holding him in place, yet unable to suppress the raw, chaotic energy of his forbidden magic.
Koha lifted his right hand higher, drawing a final, central sigil in the air. The symbol was a combination of the oldest known forbidden runes, overlaid with new, unknown glyphs, glowing red and gold simultaneously. The circle beneath him expanded, its center radiating light so intense it reflected across the arena.
生を拒む者よ、我が手に委ねよ… (Sei o kobamu mono yo, waga te ni yudane yo…) – Those who deny life, submit to my hand…
死せる者よ、再び歩め… (Shiseru mono yo, futatabi ayume…) – Those who are dead, walk again…
無限の輪を巡らせ、時を越え、命の全てを紡げ… (Mugen no wa o megurase, toki o koe, inochi no subete o tsumuge…) – Spin the infinite wheel, traverse time, weave all of life…
我が魂と血を以て、生命の束を結び、天地の力を借りて、再び生を与えん… (Waga tamashī to chi o motte, seimei no taba o musubi, tenchi no chikara o karite, futatabi sei o ataen…) – With my soul and blood, bind the bundle of life, borrowing the power of heaven and earth, and grant life once more…
The arena trembled as the energy intensified. Wind tore through the ruins, scattering debris into spirals of dust and light. Shafts of red, gold, and silver crisscrossed the sky, illuminating the resurrected faces with surreal brilliance.
Each resurrected being gasped in unison, feeling the warmth of life return. Some fell to their knees, overwhelmed by the miracle; some reached instinctively toward Koha, tears streaming down their own faces. Even those who had once been enemies stared in disbelief, alive, breathing, feeling the pulse of life surging through them.
Koha’s tears continued to fall, his laughter breaking through intermittently — low, broken, almost musical, carrying grief, joy, madness, and devotion simultaneously. The Four’s seal held firm, chains of silver light burning against his wrists and shoulders, their faces tight with strain:
Rio’s amber eyes flashed as he channeled lightning and divine energy into the chains.
Huo’s massive frame shook under the pressure, every sinew straining.
Yin’s calm expression was fractured by sweat and focus, reinforcing the seal with water-infused magical energy.
Sky’s fingers gripped his bow as a physical anchor, tethering the seal with his presence.
The energy of the arena surged outward, mixing the crimson-gold light of Koha’s circle with the silver divine energy of the Four. Sparks danced across the battlefield. Stones vibrated. Air shimmered like liquid glass. Shadows twisted unnaturally, following the spinning sigils beneath Koha.
Despite the immense strain, the chant continued, Koha’s voice rising louder, overlapping, layering like a chorus of gods:

The resurrected felt energy reaching into their very souls. Hearts, lungs, nerves — everything surged with life, pulsing in perfect harmony with the forbidden circle. It was a sensation at once gentle and terrifying, as though reality itself were bending to Koha’s will.
Koha’s laugh grew louder, mingling with his tears. The Four’s seal strained, pushing against the crimson-gold energy like a dam holding back a tidal wave. Light arced between them in visible currents, painting the arena in a surreal palette of red, gold, and silver.
The central sigil, spinning and growing, became a living focal point, threads of energy stretching from Koha’s hands to each resurrected body, creating a network of life and magic, divine and forbidden intertwined.
The atmosphere was alive:
The air vibrated with power.
Dust and debris levitated, caught in spirals around the circle.
Light refracted through the spinning runes, forming prismatic patterns across the arena.
Shadows twisted unnaturally, as if reality itself were watching Koha’s creation.
For a moment, all was silent but for the magic, the energy, and Koha’s layered chanting. The resurrected watched in awe and disbelief, the Four strained, and Koha, kneeling, cried and laughed, weaving life back into the world with a single, impossible gesture.
The resurrected — enemies, allies, and fallen students alike — breathed, alive and trembling, their gazes locked on the kneeling figure in the center.
Koha’s body, still kneeling, trembled from exhaustion, blood streaked across his robes and face. He had poured everything into the forbidden spell, yet even now he was not finished. Slowly, he lifted his head. The pale violet of his eyes burned brighter, veins of lightning arcing across the irises, turning gradually to pure electric white, a color that seemed to pierce the sky itself.
The Four hovered around him, their silver chains still glowing, pressing their combined strength against his aura. They could feel the intensity escalating beyond what they had ever encountered. Each of their voices rose, harmonizing with the chain of the seal:
Rio’s voice was sharp, commanding, reinforcing the binding: “Hold, now! Do not let him surge again!”
Huo’s booming tone layered with physical pressure in the seal: “Focus! Keep the circle steady!”
Yin’s soft but firm chanting infused the seal with water-magic currents: “Balance… maintain the flow.”
Sky’s melodic tone wove the silver light into a tether across the arena: “Do not falter. Anchor him!”
Koha’s hands trembled as he raised them fully above his head. The central forbidden circle spun faster, glowing with red-gold energy, intricate sigils overlapping like fractals of impossible complexity. Arcs of power shot outward, connecting to the resurrected bodies.
Each connection pulsed in rhythm with the heartbeat of the circle. A thread of magic, visible as shimmering light, linked Koha’s palms to the chests of the resurrected. The energy flowed in two directions:
Giving life: restoring the body, heart, and lungs of each resurrected being.
Absorbing essence: subtly connecting each life to the central magic, creating a vast network of living energy tied to Koha.
The Four strained to maintain their seal. Every pulse threatened to overwhelm them, but they pressed on, silver chains screaming under the strain.
Sparks flew where Koha’s red-gold aura collided with the Four’s silver light.
Stones cracked further under the pressure.
Wind whipped violently through the arena, scattering debris and dust into a spiraling vortex.
The resurrected could feel the pulse of Koha’s magic inside their veins, an almost tangible warmth and energy. Hearts beat stronger, muscles twitched with life, and a sense of awe mixed with fear spread among them.
Though he had been chanting for hours, Koha’s breathing slowed, his lips moving in muted whispers rather than loud declarations. Even kneeling and restrained, his mind raced.
He realized why his four companions — his lovers — had sealed him despite their love.
This was not just a battle of power; it was a test of trust and restraint.
Lightning-white energy surged along his veins, his aura stretching beyond the bounds of the seal. It twisted and coiled like a living storm, yet he did not break free. His body, exhausted and trembling, was fully aware of the fragile balance he maintained.
Gradually, the battle field itself seemed to return to normal. The cracked stones re-stabilized, dust settled, and wind calmed. Yet, the echoes of the energy surges still lingered in the air.
Koha’s magic had restored life fully. Every resurrected person — friend, enemy, student, or professor — was alive and intact, their bodies untouched by the previous battles.
Some looked at Koha with fear.
Some looked at him with awe.
Some whispered quietly among themselves, trying to comprehend the impossible miracle they had just experienced.
Despite all the restored life, the Four’s silver chains still bound Koha, keeping him kneeling, restrained yet alive. The visual tension was striking: a lightning-eyed mage, kneeling but omnipotent, surrounded by the living he had restored, restrained by those who loved him.48Please respect copyright.PENANAc5MEFGaaAF
The central forbidden circle spun like a miniature sun, red-gold light radiating outward.
Threads of magical energy stretched to every resurrected body.
Silver light from the Four’s seal intersected with the threads, forming a web of light that held the storm in place.
Sparks of lightning and arcs of golden magic danced across the arena, creating a surreal network of power and life.
Each pulse of energy resonated with Koha’s heartbeat, trembling through the earth itself. The air shimmered, and even distant mountains seemed to feel the surge of magical force.48Please respect copyright.PENANA7XSOLYepJ3
Koha’s tears streaked his face, mixing with blood, but his eyes — now pure lightning-white — radiated calm authority and untapped fury. His laughter was barely audible now, a soft exhale of relief and recognition:
He had given life back to all who had died.
He had maintained his control despite the Four’s seal.
He understood, finally, why his lovers had restrained him: to prevent the full unleashed fury of his power from spiraling beyond even his own comprehension.
The resurrected and the Four alike could sense the mix of awe, love, and restrained rage radiating from him.
Lightning-white eyes burned with quiet intensity. His chest rose and fell in time with the heartbeat of the magic — a pulse that reached into every resurrected being, weaving their life into his own. Despite the enormity of power coursing through him, Koha remained kneeling, restrained by the Four’s silver chains.
“Hold… just hold,” whispered Rio, voice sharp and low, as arcs of lightning raced along the silver bindings. Huo’s earth-and-fire currents braced the chains, muscles quivering under the strain. Yin’s water currents shimmered, weaving stability into the web of energy, while Sky’s fingers danced over the tethers, each movement precise, countering Koha’s surging aura.
The resurrected shivered as Koha’s energy pulsed through them. Former enemies, once filled with hatred, now felt the gentle weight of life itself streaming into their veins. Their eyes glimmered with awe and fear, movements synchronized perfectly with the rhythm of the circle.
Koha’s lips moved in a soft, intricate chant:

Each word was a thread of command, each syllable a pulse of life. The arena trembled as Koha’s aura stretched outward, brushing against the Four’s bindings. Sparks flew where crimson-gold energy met silver light, a miniature storm forming at the intersection of power and restraint.
The resurrected moved in unison. Former enemies lifted their hands as if sensing Koha’s silent guidance, their hearts beating in perfect harmony with the circle. Even the Four could not mask the awe that trembled in their eyes. Koha’s power was no longer just his own — it flowed outward, linking the lives of all around him.
And yet, he did not rise. He did not break the chains. He knelt, the very center of an unstoppable storm held in place only by love, trust, and sheer willpower.
Koha’s mind whispered through the threads of life, feeling each resurrected heartbeat, each pulse of restored life. He understood finally why the Four had sealed him — not because they did not trust him, but because they loved him too fiercely to risk the full fury of his power.
His lips curved into a faint, almost imperceptible smile. Lightning-white eyes traced each thread, each body, each pulse, knowing that all the life he had restored, all the energy he channeled, was a fragile miracle held together by the Four’s unwavering will.
The arena itself seemed to breathe with him. Dust spiraled in invisible winds, light shimmered in impossible fractals, and the stones beneath them glimmered with residual power. For a fleeting moment, it was as if time itself waited, watching the balance between a single mage’s unstoppable aura and the love that restrained him.
Koha’s whisper carried across the arena, faint but resonant:
“Live… breathe… walk… and remember… I am here.”
The resurrected shivered as if acknowledging a god. The Four gritted their teeth, muscles taut, holding the chains with everything they had. The balance had held… for now.
But in the far distance, where shadows twisted unnaturally across the blackened sky, a chill whispered through the battlefield. The Four sensed it immediately — a presence so powerful, so dark, that even Koha’s energy seemed to falter for a heartbeat.
Doojin had arrived.48Please respect copyright.PENANADewZJqn93M
The Four hovered, taut with strain, silver chains trembling under the weight of Koha’s forbidden magic.
Then, a shadow darker than night rolled across the sky. It moved unnaturally, almost alive, twisting the very air with it. The Four stiffened immediately, recognizing a presence far beyond what they had felt before.
“He’s here,” whispered Sky, voice tight with tension. “Doojin…”
From the darkness, Doojin descended. His aura was suffocating, a dense blackness that seemed to devour the very light of Koha’s circle. The Four’s silver chains flickered, quivering under the oppressive presence, and the resurrected shuddered as if sensing a predator approaching the source of life itself.
Koha remained kneeling, his white eyes narrowing as the dark energy struck him like a physical blow. The threads connecting him to the resurrected bodies flickered violently, but he did not rise. He had not expected Doojin.
Doojin’s figure stopped before Koha, a dark aura radiating like molten shadow. Without a word, he reached out, his hand grabbing Koha’s shoulders, forcing him to stand. The circle beneath Koha pulsated erratically, struggling to maintain cohesion as the threads stretched and twisted.
The Four tightened their hold on the chains, chants growing louder:
“閉じろ、魂の輪を!我が光で封ぜよ!” (Tojiro, tamashī no wa o! Waga hikari de fūze yo!) – Close, circle of souls! Seal with our light!”
“命を束ね、彼を止めろ!” (Inochi o tabane, kare o tomero!) – Bind life, stop him!”
But Doojin was faster. His hand wrapped around Koha’s throat, pulling him forward, and in a single, shocking motion, he pressed his lips to Koha’s, sucking out the chaotic magic surging in him. The crimson-gold threads that connected to the resurrected faltered, energy spilling into the arena like a violent storm.
Koha froze. His eyes, once blazing white with pure lightning, dimmed, and his aura waned. The Four gasped, the chains tightening reflexively, trying to contain the instability. The resurrected bodies swayed slightly, their lifelines flickering in response to Koha’s sudden loss of control.
Doojin’s hold was absolute. The chaotic forbidden magic Koha had been channeling the life threads, the circle’s pulse, the resurrection energy—was being forcibly drained. Yet even as his power waned, Koha’s mind raced, a flicker of rebellion burning behind frozen eyes.
“Stay… with me…!” whispered Koha, his voice strained but audible. The resurrected looked toward him, faint pulses of life still tethered by instinct and residual magic.
The arena roared with chaos. Broken stone pillars jutted from the cracked earth, smoke rising from molten fissures. Koha’s aura blazed like a storm of white lightning, each pulse shaking the ground beneath him. He lunged at the Four — Rio, Huo, Yin, and Sky — eyes blazing with unrestrained fury.
“Move aside!” Koha shouted, voice ragged but filled with determination. “You’re in my way!”
Rio blocked his path, lightning crackling along the blade. “Koha! Stop! You’ll destroy everything!”
Huo planted his gauntlet on the cracked ground, flames licking its surface. “We won’t let you hurt anyone! Stand down!”
Yin raised his hands, water spiraling around them, protective barriers forming. “Koha… please… don’t make me stop you like this!”
Sky nocked an arrow, its tip glowing with ice and fire. “We’re not letting you do this alone, Koha!”
But Koha barely heard them. His every step, every motion, radiated raw destructive energy. Lightning-white aura flared around him, electricity crackling along the air. His attack collided with Rio’s sword, Huo’s gauntlet, and Yin’s barriers, sending sparks, water, and flames spraying in every direction. The Four were forced to retreat, struggling to contain the chaos while Koha advanced relentlessly.
Then a shadow tore across the arena, faster than the eye could follow. Before Koha could strike again, the figure materialized in front of him: Doojin.
The air immediately thickened, oppressive. Darkness spread from him like a living thing, tendrils coiling and twisting outward, forcing the Four to step back. Koha skidded to a halt, aura flickering, but his eyes still burned with lightning-white intensity.
“You… who are you?” Koha spat, barely pausing. His hands trembled as he prepared to strike again.
Doojin’s voice cut through the chaos, calm yet commanding. “Stop. Now.”
Before Koha could react, the shadows erupted. In a blink, he was teleported directly in front of Doojin. The sudden displacement threw him off balance, aura flickering violently.
Doojin’s hand was firm on his shoulder, pulling him closer. Then, impossibly fast, he pressed his lips to Koha’s.
A gasp escaped Koha as raw magical energy surged from him into Doojin. His aura dimmed from blinding white to a flickering pale glow. His body trembled violently, struggling against the pull of his own drained power.
Koha: “No… stop… I’ll kill them!”
Doojin: “Your fury will harm no one… not now. Not under my control.”
As the kiss continued, Doojin’s shadowed aura siphoned Koha’s remaining energy, his golden lightning pulses shrinking into weak flickers. Koha’s body slacked, barely able to maintain balance on his knees.
Doojin began chanting, the shadows around him responding like obedient serpents:

The Four struggled against the advancing shadows. Rio swung his sword with a burst of lightning:
Rio: “I won’t let you take him!”
Huo stomped the ground, sending molten rock toward Doojin’s tendrils:
Huo: “I will protect him! No one touches him!”
Yin raised a swirling barrier of water and light:
Yin: “We have to restrain him… he’s too dangerous!”
Sky fired arrow after arrow, each enchanted with ice and flame:
Sky: “Hold on, Koha!”
Yet the shadows absorbed every strike, redirecting them with brutal precision. The arena itself seemed to bend to Doojin’s will.
Koha’s trembling lips whispered a faint chant, trying to push life energy into the circle beneath him:

Even kneeling, Koha’s faint aura flickered stubbornly, a small but defiant glimmer amidst the overwhelming shadows. The Four fought desperately to maintain control over him, every pulse of their combined elemental magic clashing with Doojin’s darkness.
Koha’s breath came in ragged gasps. “I… I can’t… fight… anymore…”
Doojin finally broke the kiss, stepping back. Koha collapsed to his knees, aura barely alive. The Four exchanged worried glances — for now, Koha was restrained, safe, but dangerously close to complete suppression.
The arena fell silent except for the quivering echoes of residual energy — golden threads of Koha’s life magic struggling to pulse against the all-consuming darkness.
The arena was eerily calm. The shattered stones and broken pillars remained, but the violent shaking had ceased. Smoke and molten cracks slowly faded, leaving the battlefield looking almost deceptively peaceful. The once-chaotic skies cleared, leaving a pale sunlight glinting off the jagged edges of debris.
Koha knelt on the cracked stone, aura flickering weakly, white lightning dimmed to faint sparks. His chest rose and fell with uneven rhythm. The Four — Rio, Huo, Yin, and Sky — cautiously circled him, tension written across every muscle.
Doojin hovered above the ground, shadows still coiling around him like serpents, though now dormant, resting against the quiet of the battlefield. His gaze fixed on Koha, unblinking and piercing.
Doojin (calm, authoritative): “For now… he is mine. Do not interfere.”
The Four stiffened, instincts screaming at them to resist.
Rio: “You can’t take him! He’s not yours to claim!”
Doojin: “Try if you wish… but understand this — your strength is meaningless against me.”
Huo stepped forward, fists glowing with molten energy. “We will not let you control him! Koha is not yours to command!”
Doojin’s shadowed aura flared faintly, causing the Four to stumble back. He let out a low, chilling laugh.

Koha’s faint golden aura flickered violently in response, struggling to pulse life energy, but it was weak, nearly swallowed by Doojin’s dark suppression. His body trembled, lips parted, but he did not resist verbally — his will was trapped under Doojin’s overwhelming control.
Yin: “We can’t let him take him… not like this…”
Sky: “He’s too strong… even together, he’s… controlling Koha…”
Koha’s hands hovered over the remnants of his previously drawn circle, the faint glow of life restoration magic struggling to rise, but Doojin’s influence suffocated every pulse.
Koha (faint whisper): “No… I… can’t… breathe…”
Doojin descended, landing softly but heavily beside him. Shadows stretched from him, curling over Koha like a protective cage, separating him from the Four.
Doojin (firm, almost tender): “Do not attempt to resist. I will return him to you… when the time is right. For now, he belongs to me.”
The Four watched, their frustration burning. Rio’s sword sparked lightning as he clenched it tightly.
Rio: “We will get him back. You hear me? This isn’t over!”
Doojin: “I do hear you… and I welcome your defiance. But understand this — any further attempt to harm me, or to take him from me, will be met with force you cannot survive.”
He pressed a hand to Koha’s shoulder, dark energy coiling like serpents along his arm. Koha’s aura dimmed further, golden sparks reduced to a faint shimmer, his hair falling over his pale face as he struggled to remain conscious.

The shadows retracted slightly, leaving Koha kneeling but alive, restrained and dimly glowing, his life force faintly pulsing within Doojin’s control. The battlefield, though visually normal, seemed heavy with lingering tension — the air thick with the memory of violence and suppression.
Huo: “We’ll find a way… we must. Koha… hold on.”
Koha’s lips moved faintly, whispering a single syllable of life magic, but Doojin’s aura absorbed even that:

Even under the suppression, Koha’s stubborn spark flickered, refusing to fully extinguish.
Doojin: “Rest now… regain strength. When the time comes, all will be revealed.”
With a single motion, Doojin lifted Koha slightly from the ground, shadows wrapping him completely, and vanished in a blink, leaving the Four staring at the now calm battlefield.
Sky: “He… he took him… just like that…”
Yin: “We… we need to prepare… we can’t let this continue…”
Rio: “I don’t care what it takes. Koha is ours, and I will bring him back.”
The arena, though physically restored, carried the weight of suppressed chaos — a quiet after the storm. The four warriors remained, tense and determined, knowing the true battle for Koha was far from over.
