The world had gone still.
Above the drained seabed, Koha floated like a god of vengeance, surrounded by a halo of crystallized ocean, each shard glowing with the merged power of all six elements. His glowing right eye locked upon the distant cliff where the sniper mage writhed in terror, bound by invisible chains.
Rio, Yin, and Huo could hardly breathe. The air itself had grown so thick with mana that every inhalation felt like swallowing molten fire.
And then—
BANG!
The sniper fired again. Somehow, through sheer will, he forced his arms to move. A second bullet of condensed darkness erupted from the rifle, aimed once more at Koha’s head.
But it stopped.
Suspended midair, quivering against the shimmering barrier that wrapped Koha’s body like a divine shell. Sparks of mana crackled where the bullet struggled to pierce through, but it could go no further.
The sniper cursed, veins bulging on his forehead. “Move! Damn it, move!” He tried to crawl away, dragging his weapon with him. But every step felt like wading through molten lead. His body betrayed him, paralyzed by the sheer weight of Koha’s fury.
Koha lowered his hand slowly. His voice, when it came, was low, cold, and merciless.

“Nanji, nigeba nashi… zetsubō o daite shizume.”
The floating arsenal of ocean-blades shifted. Thousands of spears, arrows, and shards turned in unison, all pointing toward the sniper.
Rio shouted desperately. “Koha! Stop, please! You’ll annihilate the entire cliff—maybe even us!”
Yin clenched his fists, sweat dripping down his temples as he reinforced their barrier. “It’s too much. His spell… it’s beyond anything I’ve studied. He’s not just casting—he’s rewriting the elements!”
But Koha did not hear them. His eyes burned with unrelenting fury.
The sniper’s pupils shrank as he saw the weapons aim at him. “No… no, no, NO!”
He raised his rifle one last time, chanting under his breath. A black circle formed beneath him, runes of void magic crawling across the stone.
“Umbra Veil!”
A cloak of shadows engulfed him, swallowing his form as though he had melted into the darkness. For a moment, he vanished from sight.
Rio gasped. “He disappeared—?!”
But Koha’s right eye glowed brighter, the secondary magic circle within it spinning faster.

“Me wa azamukare nu… kage ni kumō tomo, nogare raren.”
His gaze cut through the veil instantly, piercing the shadows to reveal the sniper crawling away on the cliffside, panting with desperation.
Koha whispered again, voice dripping with venom:

“Koko ni shirushi sadame, horobi o kizamu.”
In a flash, Koha vanished.
The ocean arsenal collapsed into light, surging back into his body as he invoked teleportation through the abyss. His form dissolved into streaks of glowing runes, vanishing from the seabed entirely.
Rio’s eyes widened. “He—he’s gone! He teleported?!”
Huo’s knuckles whitened as he gripped his shield. “No… he’s hunting the sniper directly. Up close.”
Yin’s voice shook. “If Koha fights him with that much power at close range… he won’t just kill him. He’ll erase him.”
The Cliffside
The sniper crawled through the jagged rocks, clutching his rifle. His breath came in ragged gasps. “I… I can still kill him. I can’t fail… not now… not after…”
A cold voice cut through the night air.
“Behind you.”
The sniper froze.
Slowly, trembling, he turned his head.
Koha stood there. Not floating, not radiant like before—just standing, a simple sword in his hand. But the aura around him was colder than death itself. His glowing eyes illuminated the shadows, the twin magic circles spinning like gears of execution.
The sniper’s mouth went dry. He raised the rifle with shaking hands and fired at point-blank range.
BANG!
The bullet never reached him. Koha tilted his head slightly, and the dark shot scraped harmlessly past his cheek, vanishing into the cliff.
The sniper screamed, reloading desperately. “Why won’t you DIE?!”
Koha stepped forward, the sword in his hand shimmering with runes. He began to chant, his voice calm but venomous.

“With blood I forge my blade, with hatred I stain its steel…”42Please respect copyright.PENANASLifCQjOfh
“Chishio o motte yaiba o kitae, ensa o motte hagane o somen…”
The sword elongated, glowing with elemental fusion—flames licked along its edge, frost crystalized down its length, arcs of lightning crawled across the steel. Shadows clung to its surface like a second skin.
Koha lifted it, eyes locked onto his prey.

“My blade is the seal of ruin. To pierce you is inevitable.”42Please respect copyright.PENANAWXubtJisQL
“Waga ken wa hametsu no shirushi, nanji o tsuranuku wa hitsuzen nari.”
He swung.
The sniper barely rolled aside, the blade carving a massive scar across the cliff, stone splitting like paper. Rocks cascaded into the ocean below.
The sniper fired again in panic. Another BANG! echoed, another bullet flying.
But Koha’s sword intercepted it midair, the mana bullet shattering like glass against his edge.
The sniper staggered back, sweat and tears streaming down his face. “No… no one should have this much power…! You’re not human!”
Koha’s expression never changed. He advanced, step by step, each footfall echoing like a death knell.
The sniper raised his hand desperately, conjuring a final dark spell.
“Annihilation Spear!”
A black spear, forged of condensed destruction, erupted from the void, hurling straight toward Koha. Its aura was so dense it disintegrated the very air it passed through.
But Koha simply raised his glowing eye.

“Me ni yadoru wa zettai no sabaki.”
The spear froze midair. Its tip quivered, then shattered into fragments of harmless smoke.
The sniper’s scream echoed across the cliff. “Impossible—IMPOSSIBLE!”
Koha blurred forward, teleporting in an instant, and appeared directly in front of him.
The sword rose.
His voice whispered like the cold wind of the grave:

“Carve the end, O blade of judgment—”42Please respect copyright.PENANAFohQADm3VN
“Shūen o kizame, danzai no yaiba—”
He thrust.
The blade pierced clean through the sniper’s chest.
The mage gasped, blood pouring from his lips. His weapon clattered to the stone. His eyes widened in disbelief as the glow of Koha’s runes burned through his body, disintegrating him from the inside out.
“Wh… what are you…?” he whispered weakly.
Koha’s answer was merciless.

“Ware wa ikari no utsuwa, zetsubō no keshin.”
With that, he twisted the blade. The sniper’s body burst into shards of mana, his existence erased utterly, leaving nothing but ash carried away by the wind.
Back at the Ocean
Rio, Yin, and Huo felt the surge of mana vanish in an instant. The suffocating weight in the air lifted, though their bodies still trembled.
And then, Koha reappeared before them, sword dripping with faint traces of mana that evaporated in the air.
His glowing eyes dimmed slowly, the circles fading. The aura surrounding him receded, leaving only the faint lapping of waves against the ruined platforms.
He swayed once, knees buckling. Blood still dripped faintly from his forehead where the first bullet had struck.
Rio rushed forward, catching him. “Koha! Don’t push yourself—damn it, you scared us half to death!”
Koha’s gaze was distant, his breathing uneven. But his voice, quiet and cold, escaped his lips.
“…He tried to kill me. He paid the price.”
Yin placed a trembling hand on Koha’s shoulder, eyes full of fear and awe. “…You’re not the same as us. You’re something else entirely.”
Huo clenched his jaw, staring at the horizon. “And if more like him come… the world itself won’t be ready.”
The ocean was silent. Only the faint echo of Koha’s cold voice lingered in their minds, the memory of his wrath forever carved into their souls.
