The days all blurred together usually. Sun hung broken and low now though. Dull light seeped into streets full of ghost voices nobody could name anymore. In this town, secrets had their own pulse under floorboards and peeling paint jobs. Secrets here never stayed buried. They waited quiet-like in nail holes and warped doorframes.

"Shadows of a Broken Day" wasn't some cozy bedtime story you'd tell kids. Thing is about old business rising up again when you least expect it. More like when whatever you shoved deep down starts rattling the locks real loud this time.
