Previously, Reverie just finished her class and ready to go home. However when she came to the parking lane she is panic because she lost her bike.
While Reverie is panic. She look across her parking lane. It's Arthur car.
"Should we go home together?" Ask Arthur.
Reverie just nod and get inside the car. Inside the car, she quickly close her face with her bag and stay quiet through the trip to her home while wearing her earphone. Unluckily, there is a tree falling on the street today, so, it will be a super late to go back home.
"May I ask something?.." Ask Arthur.
"Sure.. go ahead.." Said Reverie.
"Are you mad at me because of this morning accident?" Ask Arthur.
"I'm sorry..." Said Reverie, her face suddenly blushing, and she close it with her bag.
"N-No it's okay.. Forget it.. I didn't saw anything.." Said Arthur.
"Great God!! Thank goodness..." Said Reverie.
"So.. We are fine now?" Ask Arthur.
"Mhm.. You are invited for the dinner~" Said Reverie.
Arthur putting his hand on top of Reverie's head. Patting her head. While Reverie's face suddenly blushing.
"The next day after tomorrow is your first day intern, you should have a good rest starting from today." Said Arthur.
"Mhm, thanks~ I cannot wait for it." Said Reverie.
The two of them finally arrived at home. While Reverie get down from the car, Arthur also leave his seat. He open the back side of his car and taking out Reverie's bike and put it in front of her house.
"Arthur!!! So it's you who take my bike?" Said Reverie, she laugh so hard.
"As long as you are talking again, stealing your bike is worth it." Said Arthur.
"Alright see you at the dinner~" Said Reverie.
Right after Reverie get inside her house and greet her mom she went to her room, and be back to the middle room. She stay on the sofa watching movie and fall asleep, while her mom is going out for grocery.
At noon her mom already in the kitchen preparing for the dinner. Kev already come.
"Hey auntie, I didn't saw Reverie in garage today.." Said Kev.
"Ah. She is watching movie and fall asleep on the couch." Said mom.
Kev quickly goes to the sofa. However.. she saw Reverie, is laying on the couch. Her hair is loose, her face look pretty.
At the same time Arthur has just arrived for the dinner. Reverie's mom also tell him to go and wait in the middle room. When he arrives over there, he saw Kev, kissing Reverie who is still asleep on the sofa. Right after seeing that Arthur just go back to his place telling Reverie's mom he forgot he has something urgent to do, so he cannot join the dinner and just that he leave.
Reverie awake because Kev pinching her cheek to wake up.
When the dinner time start Arthur still not come, so Reverie ask her mom.
"Uh mom, where is Arthur?" Ask Reverie.
"Oh he tell me he has an urgent stuff to do, so he cannot join the dinner tonight." Said mom.
"No worries kiddo, there is still tomorrow. He can come again tomorrow." Said Kev.
"Alright, I'm gonna finish my dinner and continue to rest." Said Reverie.
After finishing her dinner she went to her room, she try to open the curtain to see Arthur. But his curtain is closing. The light on his room is off too. Probably already resting. Reverie close again her curtain and turn off the light in her room. She also try to chat Arthur, but, there is no reply from him. She end up chatting with Carter.
R: Hi Carter!
C: Hello Reverie, how can I help you today?
R: Aren't you supposed to be asking how was my day today?
C: Oh I'm sorry, how was your day today?
R: Bad.. you know! Arthur promise me to come, but he didn't, and he didn't even replying my message..
C: I feel bad for you Reverie. Did you do something that annoy him?
R: No..
C: You sure didn't do that?
Afterwards Reverie didn't answer that and just turning off her phone then fall asleep. Meanwhile in two other places, Kev is smiling in his room, laying down on his bed, playing throwing and catching the ball with the ceiling. However, Arthur turning off the lamp in his room, sitting in front of his laptop, ignoring the message on his phone, but he is replying to Reverie as Carter on his laptop.
The next morning, Reverie goes to her campus like normal, but this time it's hard to meet with Arthur. Seems like he is out of reach. However, she easily bump into Kev. While Arthur also seeing the two of them from a far and somehow he cannot concentrate on everything he do.
Inside the classroom. Arthur class is doing a practice of operating a mannequin that looks like a human body.
"Arthur! You cut the wrong veins! Please be more focus." Said the lecturer.
"Oh.. I'm sorry..." Said Arthur.
"Maybe you can wash your face first or drink some coffee so you won't be dozing off.. Luckily this is not a human body! You will make the patient in critical condition while dozing off like that?" Said the lecturer.
Right after that Arthur left the room to buy some coffee. While sipping the coffee, a message is coming. It's from Reverie.
R: Tonight's menu is Curry rice omelette!~
A: I'm sorry. I have stuff to do until late. I cannot come.
R: :( Tomorrow is the internship..
A: I will share the location, meet me over there tomorrow.
A: [Location Shared]
Right after that Reverie pouting.
"He is the one who inviting me, I thought we are gonna go there together!" Mumble Reverie.
She put her phone away and went to sleep.
The next day after she end the class in her campus she go to the location shared by Arthur. Over there she meet with Arthur, but this time, he looks so cold. They are working in the same room, however, she feels so distant with him. When he two of them working, they only focus on what they do. Untill the work time is end. Arthur is still sitting on his chair, while Reverie come closer to his desk.
"Arthur, can we go home now?" Ask Reverie.
"You can go first." Said Arthur, without looking at her.
"I came.. without my bike here.. so.. can we go home together..?" Ask Reverie.
"I'm still doing my task here till late of night.. Maybe you should call Kev to take you home." Said Arthur.
"Alright... I will go home by myself. Thanks for today." Said Reverie, leaving the room.
Arthur is annoyed. But he cannot communicate what he wants to say. He put his finger between his eyes. A girl leaving alone in the midnight, worst thing can happen anytime. He quickly took his jacket, and tidying up his stuff, run towards the lobby. There he saw her squatting on the lobby, drench by the rain. He took an umbrella and put it on top of her. She look at him, her eyes already swollen from her crying.
"What are you doing here? Let's go home." Said Arthur, standing beside her.
"No! It's okay, I can go home by myself! The rain will stop soon!" Said Reverie.
Arthur then put the umbrella beside her. He left. Few minutes later he is back with his car in front of her. He took her hand and she stand up following him. However, right after she walk a step, she is fainted and falling, Arthur quickly catch her and bring her back inside his room in the hospital.
Her body temperature is high. Arthur ask all the nurse to change her clothes, afterwards, she is laying on the bed, her arm got an infused needle and Arthur taking care of her all night in his room. She has a fever, the cause is missing her dinner plus drenching in the rain for several minutes. He quickly tell her mom not to worry, since he is right now taking care of her, so her mom is relief.
