" Over here , there are a lot of souls being so noisy " Yuni was also starting to hear the noise that the spirits were referring too and finally found the transcendant .
' So that must be them ' Yuni was tempted to attack as soon as possible , but sensing that the transcendant was alone , Yuni was certain that they were making sure they could get the eternal death they so desire by sending the transcendant directly to the world tree .
' Afterlife is a lovely idea , but a building will eventually collapse because erosion will break the foundation . Must be why the eternal death sought the world tree , which only grew as the cycle of life and death of the elves continue '

During the preparation of the forces Yuni received a text "A person claiming to be from the eternal death wants a lot of stat stones" Yuni checked the quality and quantity that was demanded .
"How did the conversation go ?" "They called me a thief , stating that I stole them . It was the backstory you gave me so I simply agreed and told them I wanted to earn some money for selfish reasons and they bought that story"

Yuni turned off the stat stone extraction vacuum and found that she had also taken away some high-quality stat stone straight from Mortis's unused stat points .
' This is not something you are supposed to get until you're on the same level as a transcendant , but to think I got it this soon , I can probably break this thing into much lower quality for more quantity '
Mortis finally absorbed all the souls and the power that surged into him had been so much that it completely neglected the heaviness he previously felt on his body ' It seems they haven't noticed anything '
Yuni thinks about how little Mortis could sense the lack of power and thinks it must be related to the increased amount of souls . The realm shook and Yuni wondered who could have caused such a thing and checked the map .
' Oh that's right Limos , was the food I gave them not enough or is Mortis just that enticing ? ' House was firing shot after shot while there was a basket of stat stones inside Yuni's room , where she had forced Limos to stay " Limos stop trying to get in "
Damo yelled as appendages tried to stop Limos's punches ' It's a good thing I paid the delirium reward instances , but with my challenger title , they would come here eventually ' Yuni felt Mortis trying to control the dead root .

' I'm slower ? why ? ' ' Good thing Welt took a while to give me my rewards or they'd go to war without buying the stat stones ' Yuni casted Gyan's sound filter : mandrake whistle and blew it " GAHHH " ' Hmm he even upgraded it '

Mortis looked at the box he sensed exceptional wind magic from and used an item lock skill " Stop blowing many whistles at once now " Yuni smiled and wrote "I will" Mortis's eyes widened and he quickly gathered his strength to defend against Yuni .
He cast several mental barriers and shielded himself ' Not good , she's too confident ' "Sike" a small glass breaker tool broke the barriers and Mortis found himself elsewhere " Huh ? " he looked at a lifeless world and could feel an immense amount of souls .
" This is " He didn't understand what this place was , nor was he able to tell what he was before , but the souls that were forming in the dead soul chrysallis were too enticing for him to leave it alone .
' So many skills ' he ran to the chrysallis and it broke , freeing countless butterflies ' Mine mine mine mine mine mine ' Yuni hears the cries of the dead as the spiritual space was becoming cramper " LORD MORTIS !!?? "
They screamed as they begged Mortis to stop , but with the crown of hunger , fiction and illusion necklace obscuring his lucidity in the dream . Mortis kept taking souls and making room for them , even though they do not exist , ignoring how much he was stretching the limits of his soul space .
Yuni strengthen the silence spell , the cosmetics of a sewn mouth was tightened as she silenced the screams of the souls ' It's my victory ' Mortis's body couldn't handle the expansion of the spiritual world as blood erupted eyes and bled out of his nose and mouth as the spiritual world broke , spreading all the souls out .
Limos finally came into the dead root's spiritual world and drooled over Mortis's body "You can have him , just give me the whistle" Limos stripped Mortis and cast magic to help swallow his body whole and digest the body .
' I wonder why Limos really like this , maybe they like trying new things ' " AHHH WHAT IS THIS BODY ? " Limos yelled and Yuni turned to them , surprised by their voice . Limos was looking at their own hand and Yuni checked Limos's status to find Limos having an extra addition in status .
' Soul slot ? ' she checked the information , finding out it was Mortis who was in that soul slot . Yuni blew the whistle and Limos took control and pounced to Yuni , letting her carry them as they opened their mouth wide open .
Yuni takes out a stat stone and feeds it to them . Limos closed their mouth and enjoyed the stat stone properly , savoring it like some hard candy ' Seems like Limos has Mortis's skill ' Yuni thinks about the dead root and figures she would need this moved .
' I think I can keep it , it is my spoils of war ' Yuni was a bit disappointed by how weakened the eternal death was due to the system interference ' Maybe he could've beat me if he was used to Humility , Humility really is much useful if you are actually strong rather than weak ' she checked the contribution rate ' Still maintaining a steady high contribution rate '
Yuni checked the unclaimed contribution rate and wondered if it was possible to end the war so easily ' Their leader is already dead anyways , plus this must be one of the easy transcendants to kill because I was able to keep them occupied . And it's a little bad that I ended up degrading most of the demon souls and the ones in his spiritual afterlife '
Yuni thought of how to gather them and recall a very expensive item that could do so ' Maybe I can use this one instead , but I ain't got the cash . I ended up spending too much , but at least the monopoly effect is now stealing all the stat stones '
She could only imagine the demons all starting to accuse each other of stealing and enhancing their security , but in the end , they'll never know she did it cause she is restricting the Monopoly's notification to the demons .
' Since they think a thief is taking their stuff , they wo't think I'm the one who did it ' Yuni checked Limos's status to find them full by the food they just ate ' I'm sure a transcendant will take a while to digest , especially now that they have their soul with them . '
Yuni thought that this might cause Limos to want to eat her other familiars or even her now that it's got a taste of a transcendant ' The crown of restraint is showing a lot of control over Limos plus I can take advantage of the crown of hunger to remove Limos's hunger if it is ever neccessary '
She was a bit mad at all the cost it took to have Mortis self-destruct ' You know if more and more strong people are coming after me , there will be no use to get Humility ' Yuni walked out of the tunnel , the spirit guided her and dodged Grasil's body ' Why is the prince of elves being thrown around ? '

Yuni felt her stats lower and she faced the opponent , confused ' What is happening ' a person appeared beside her and threw a punch . Yuni ducked down and sent an uppercut , hitting her opponent , but felt her attack not register as damage .
' What ? ' they kicked Yuni into the tunnel and some spirits called out " YUNI " they tried to stop the opponent , but a barrier prevented that from happening . Yuni was confused and used a wind wave to see why her attacks missed despite reaching the body .
' Oh so that's why ' Yuni takes out a dagger and her opponent appeared near her . She thrust the dagger towards their center of gravity , but all it took was a little turn for that attack to miss . Yuni retreated , annoyed by this opponent's trait .
' An avatar huh ? ' one of Yuni's mails actually had a user who chose an avatar and spent great amounts of money on the avatar ' This one is livestreaming this battle . Livestreaming is more profitable than uploading videos without an editor '
Yuni faced the avatar and ran away " What !? coward , Pointbox go after her " Yuni ran to the battlefield , understanding what was keeping the spirits from participating in the attack ' Since Humility activated this User must be controlling their avatar with great skill to compensate for the weak stats '

Pointbox panicked and dashed out , granting them a brief dash immunity as the small Yuni passed through their center of gravity .
" Heh stupid challenger " The small Yuni faded and Pointbox's invisibility ended " Huh ? " " BEHIND YOU " Pointbox's hitbox was bent a little , avoiding the attack ' Tsk '
Yuni backed away and decided to change her attacks . She summoned several whistles and blew them as Pointbox's HP decreased ' so AOE attacks can work ? ' Yuni ran away to avoid the skill forced Duel to assess how this avatar's tiny hitbox work .
' Is this like those games that say your crit rate is the same no matter which part you hit ? ' Yuni was stopped by another avatar and heard another user's voice behind the player avatar " Where is the taunt button "

Yuni started to fight the avatar , learning how varied their moves can be ' I give them the credit to avoid doing the same series of attacks ' Yuni parried sword after sword ' But because they are using preset moves for this character , they would need skills and thinking if they want to avoid using the same trick twice '
She kicked the character and a shield enveloped them . Yuni passed through the shield and when she tried to recover her foot , it was slowed down . She quickly turned to Gyan to escape as Pointbox slashed a sword aiming for her foot and she teleported away .
' So they're playing coop ? ' Yuni thought of the crown of hunger and a prompt appeared in front of her .

I spent a lot to make them lose their leader and I have no way of spreading that news because of "Dead Man Tells No Tales" ' Yuni collected the inventory box of Pointbox , throwing it into the demon realm .
' It seems like they are waiting for me to do something ' Yuni walked to the side and Grinder followed ' Adversity is being triggered because they're stronger and many . But this guy is being cautious because of the slowly updating cosmetics of my available skills '
Yuni sensed Grinder's movements as they appeared behind her and unsheathed their blade to slash her . Yuni tilted her body , avoiding the slash and Grinder turned the blade to strike down . Yuni moved away , turning into Gyan and fired attack spells towards Grinder .
A shield forms and Yuni sensed the shield pop , releasing a brief wave of dense barrier , which canceled the attacks ' Looks like they have other defensive options ' Grinder takes out a book and activates a buffing spell .
' Ugh this is annoying ' Yuni turned to Rilvor and summoned chains which wrapped around Grinder and turned to Gyan , strengthening the chains' debuff ability ' Let's not make you more of a nuisance than you already are '
Yuni and Grinder both charged at each other as Grinder slashed , aiming to chop Yuni's head , but paper wrapped around it ' What ? ' The paper turned into the bandages that wrapped Mortis's spear ' Surprised ? This is an item from the gacha during its lucky time '
The bandage wrapped around Grinder's weapon and more papers appeared Yuni as they manifested another weapon ' It's a bit weird to store weapons in the crown of fiction , but not only is it cool , it also strengthens the crown '
Yuni was glad to have such a crown with her , Grinder takes out a broadsword from the inventory and Yuni sensed a change in the connection between the user and their avatar ' Alright , it looks like something has changed . Maybe the new weapon caused new moves to be made '
Wind gathered around the sword and Grinder swung it , sending a wind blade and Yuni summoned paper to manifest a reflector shield , sending the wind blade back with a higher momentum .
Grinder jumped over the incoming wind blade and aimed for Yuni as she moved the shield up , only for it to shatter at the broadsword's plunge attack ' What the hell ? ' Yuni summoned back the bandage and took Grinder's weapon and blocked the attack .
' This is so annoying , no wonder they're called Grinder . They're like Zaun ' Yuni swapped to Gyan and used telekinesis to send Grinder far back . She heard a noticeable ring and several wind blades were shot in her direction .
Papers turned into a doll and took all the damage for her ' It's too bad most of these items can't be used ' The voodoo doll broke apart , sending a little bit of damage towards Grinder ' Oh that's right , if they called Grinder they should have stat stones '
Yuni was about to take out the item , but it was destroyed ' What the hell ? ' Yuni turned to Grinder and a dagger flew back to them ' I took like a week to make that item ' Grinder dashed to Yuni with two daggers and she heard .
