Yuni checked the map , wondering if the raid boss reward was still applicable ' Oh this is impressive ' Yuni was partly baffled because the enhanced map by the bird's eye view reward was still available ' These kinds of rewards usually last only for a while , but to think it was a permanent reward '
Yuni figured that rewards are much better for challengers like her , thanks to her raise in difficulty ' Maybe there are going to be more challenges I can get ? '
Yuni was hit with a notification explaining the successful research on the random box gacha , which can now tell when is the good time and right now was the perfect time to roll on the gacha .
' Then I'd better start pulling for some ' Yuni claimed her 10 free pulls and quickly bought more random boxes and opened them without looking at the long animation cutscene . She purchased more and finally stopped when the timer was almost zero .
' Phew ' she checked all the capsules and found a lot of useful items ' Great this will be useful in fighting the transcendants in the future ' Yuni checked the map again , thinking about Limos's activity .
' Hmm that's strange . The thing the enemies are going after seems to be a lifeless land ' Limos climbed above the trees and found a city with many corpses lying around . They found a glowing spear pierced deep into the ground ' And the enemies are getting closer to Limos '
Yuni went to Balance "I need you to bless one of my familiars with stats can you do it ?" " I can " Yuni embedded the stat stones to Balance and they quickly granted Limos a blessing from afar , identifying the two parties involved .
Limos suddenly felt a rise in their stats and pounced toward the spear as a necromancer sent ghouls after it . Before Limos could do a thing about it , the ghoul broke apart and Limos got the spear , which devoured the ghoul " Are you a fool the eternal death said we can't use necromancy , fire something else "
They bite the spear to carry it and started casting magic silently , countering whatever magic attacked it . Yuni used Illusion magic to increase the sound ' That reminds me , I need to tell Gyan to make that sound filter '
She blew it and Limos recognized the noise . They rushed towards the sound of the whistle , ignoring the necromancers since they imagined a better treat waiting for them at House " It's running away !!! " Limos was too fast for their magic , so they had to read their pathway .
Limos slowly got annoyed by it and started throwing attacks back ' Does Limos have the silent challenge on ? ' As Yuni thought of that , a notification appeared on her ' Challenges are being extended ? '
Yuni was worried about Damo mainly cause he was more of a visual learner ' Oh wait , it says only a few ' she checked their challenges and sent Limos an order to fetch Damo while they fought back .
"House prepare our defenses , some enemies are coming" ' I highly doubt they could get close to us , but just in case , plus House should have some kind of exercise now and then ' Limos dashed towards Damo , grabbing him as they ran .
" AAAHHHH WHY ARE YOU SO FAST ? " Yuni gave House access to the maps and they took out the armaments . Yuni was surprised to see that many elves were suddenly dying .
' Oh that's not good ' before she could react , Limos was already at the door and left a fainted Damo by the living room and rushed to Yuni's bedroom and sat down like a dog and pointed at their mouth to ask for the food .
House rained down attacks against the necromancers while Yuni handed Limos stat stones and they let go of the spear , allowing her to check it ' Oh now this is a very interesting power imbued in it , maybe that's why they call the transcendant eternal death '
Yuni became interested and Grasil slammed the door open waking up Damo . While Balance ended the buff for Limos because the enemies have been killed " YUNI WHAT DID YOU DO ? " Yuni sighed and walked down , showing the spear "Have a look at it yourself" Grasil looked at the spear and was surprised by the description .
" Then doesn't that mean that they are declaring war ? " "Don't be so sure about it yourself prince" Yuni takes out a bandage and wraps it around the spear as it seals the soul gathering power .
"I just used a lot of resources to purchase items , so I have a lot of useful ones" Yuni handed the spear to Grasil "But for the corpses the world tree is probably absorbing them right now so you have to handle the elves in here"
" But why would they send this kind of spear ? " "Cause I'm here" Yuni said " Are you supposed to be a variable ? " "Course I am , they increased the raid because I possessed that branch and after sensing that I have a lot of stat stones , they must've thought I would give them to you and make their battle much harder"
" But there is a cost for high-level players to interfere in worlds with low level " "Maybe I'm just that important with all the resources I got" Yuni suddenly received a notification and accepted it while Grasil was curious what she was doing .

They rushed down to find Yuni and drew the spear , asking where it was ' Must have the silence challenge force onto them considering the cosmetics of a sewed mouth ' Yuni gave Limos an offer , holding a bag of stat stones , causing them to back away , thinking a vomit-inducing potion was inside .
"Just eat one by one" Limos collected the package and carefully ate it hoping not to find the potion that made it puke ' But it is a bit strange though ' Yuni had found that Limos was a perfect material to extract several copies of skill books from and it had also eaten up and puked out stat stones .
' I've never seen a creature like them before , maybe this is one of these systems products ' Yuni recalls the many products each system make , she tends to notice many of them can produce players with great skills through trial , but the some of the ones Naul always plays , simply work as a factory .
' But it is a bit weird finding a product like Limos , the stat stones they have are also something I should look into . Maybe I can find out something I can bring back home or I could ask the prisoner , they seem to have a certain level of authority in this system , maybe the warden has a bigger authority '
Yuni then wonders if she is the first person they called out to ' I'm gonna need to use the crown of restraint by a lot ' she figured she could pick a random person and ask them about the system and remove their silence to get some info .
Yuni turned her attention to the eternal death ' None of the undead had some important information but since the eternal death used a soul gathering power on a spear maybe that is related to their title ? '
Yuni enjoyed the twist that maybe the eternal death isn't all about necromancy but more so about the souls ' They never mention any church branches ' Yuni hears a beep telling her to spend money .
' Oh that's right , I need to spend ' she opens the angel shop and searches for items that protect the soul ' Oh this one is a steal , keep your soul from being taken by a contract with a demon ' she reads the text meant to advertise .
"Whether it is your lover or your family who wishes to sell your soul . So as long as you have this necklace , no one will be allowed to take your soul or turn you into a sacrifice , unless you willingly taket it off your person ."
"Do note this doesn't protect you from physical attacks , but if you die with this artifact on you , at the very least your soul won't be taken by any soul gathering powers . This artifact must also be stronger than the power to work"

Limos lifted the box atop their head for Grasil to see a note crudely written by Yuni "This is for you , I bought it from the angel shop . It can protect your souls and maybe try hanging a bunch around the branches for protection"
Grasil sighed , he had visited the shop and never turned an eye to buying it , but now there is a bulk in front of him ' I'll have to thank her for this ' Grasil commanded the few remaining elves to use the artifacts and once the box was lifted off Limos's head , they disappeared .
Limos was back at House again , this time with Yuni holding its face to feel out how they look like ' I wonder how Limos really looks like I can tell their shape , they're kinda like Damo before demonization but with rougher fur and some gemstones the inscription on these stones also match the ones on the stat stones that represent different stats '
She assumed that the many stones she could find on Limos is related to the attributes they have as each inscription was a direction translation to some language . Yuni remembered that she had plans to feed House the potion but figured they wouldn't want it . ' Better make Damo take it '

" No " Damo stated his absolute refusal "You lose to Limos" " Wasn't Limos a raid boss before ? " " They were , but you would want more strength so that you can keep upgrading House , don't you ? " Damo recalled how there were some blueprints they still couldn't do because of the lack of equipment that he couldn't build or Yuni couldn't supply .
" Can I just use whatever Limos is using ? " "You can't . I found that my challenges are extending to you and one of them is Healthy , which means this demonization potion is like a well-made drink for you"
Damo was hesitant , considering the amount of pain he had gone through "Don't worry , it won't be as painful , but you will have to get used to the taste" Damo sighed and drank the potion " It tastes weird "
"Maybe it's an acquired taste" Yuni checked Caprion's sales while also assigning Gyan the task of making the sound filter ' The challenges won't allow me to make noise directly , but they don't count the whistle as one . I'll be able to make use of this to interfere with sound-based attacks with the sound filter at least '
Yuni wondered how long this would occupy Gyan until he eventually holes himself up inside the research facility ' Maybe I shouldn't tease the prisoner too much , from what I can tell , they must have some control over the system in here , but as for how much authority they have , it should be comparable to the warden or even lower than the warden '
She tried figuring out who they were , but had no clear answers ' No answers will come to those who are just guessing , I should look for someone who can give me some direct answers , or at least the bare minimum '
Yuni thinks about any similarities of an escape game ' Now that I think about it , I never really play escape games or puzzle games of that matter ' Yuni weighed the cost of building such a game ' It would be quite expensive to make it and I highly doubt anyone can create so much , but I'm sure you can make some '
She expected some response but not much came ' Then again they did make Delirium which is already a puzzle itself ' Yuni thinks of her challenges and how they came to be .
' I figure they are making a lot of updates to accomodate the unprecedented amount of challenges I have no ? ' Yuni checked the time and had some lunch with her familiars and was called by an elf .

Yuni walked through a big circlular table ' Same thing for a community ' there was a big chair and the elf guided her to sit by Grasil's chair . The chairs were occupied later on , while some were not around " I'm sure everyone has heard about the execution of the spies ? "
They all nodded and Grasil took his hand out towards Yuni " Yuni can I get the spear back ? " Yuni took it out and wrote "Just give back the bandage I wrapped around it" " I will , Has everyone worn the artifact I gave you all " They all nodded and Grasil took out the bandages .
" I will project the item description right now " Everyone read the item description " So are we to believe many elf souls are inside ? " Grasil nodded " though it was Yuni who caused more damage , but if it weren't for her familiar , we would've lost many elves who could've become spirits "
" Since this is from the church of eternal death , does it mean they are starting a war ? " Yuni shook her head "More like they are weakening the forces so that they could take care of me , they had a hard time assuming Limos's participation since I just recently got them . You know how it is with characters whose backgrounds are revealed later on ?"
" So while we aren't at war they intend to weaken our forces due to her addition " Grasil took the spear and uses necromancy to release the elven souls , as they were claimed by the world tree .
" Is it okay for me to use this for gathering the ghouls weakening the world tree ? " Grasil asked Yuni "You might want to hurry up since the spear's power is slowly decaying" " Then you all should prepare so we can prevent the eternal death from reaching our lands "
Grasil ended the meeting and Yuni returned to House , who was still inside the giant prison , but without the barrier keeping them inside .
"Care for a location change ?" Yuni and her familiars left the prison to find a better spot ' I think it will be better if I could bait all of them and get a lot of credits ' House kept searching as they flew around the world tree .
Yuni made some plans while House looked for a better place and found a branch by the world tree and sat on it . Yuni checked the map , disappointed that there wouldn't be a lot of people aiming to attack them ' But I could have Damo upgrade House and I do have Gyan in my party , but they're using the character right now ' Yuni gave Gyan a deadline to work with .
' I wish I could unlock the crowned demon of disaster . Having an OP character in my party would be useful at times like this , but the eternal death will probably be discreet since that's what they've been doing . Saving some money aside for a crown would be beneficial though '
Despite saying that she was hit with a deadline reminder from Extravagant ' Oh that's right , I did accept this , I mean it was useful because I get bulk discounts ' Yuni sighed and wondered how she could make use of this as a business oppurtunity .
' I'll assign the sales to Caprion , he can keep a corner to sell illegal goods for me ' Yuni purchased many stocks to push the deadline for the penalty of Extravagant ahead and made Caprion open for Business .
"Is it possible to hire children ?" Caprion asked ' Probably hoping to free some people from the pain of playing this game , there are quite a lot though ' "Sure , but set a limit , I can't pay a lot of wages for that"
"What about Rent ?" "Can't do that , it would be expensive , plus we can't exactly contact others right now" ' Using the post to transport players isn't something the game intended , they might patch it up but at least the shop blueprint has a built in delivery service '
"Since we are opening for business , I'll have Damo build a shop so you can expand your customers" "Is it alright to use demons to assist me ?" "Has to be the one you can control , Make sure to earn a lot from it" "PS keep up with the shady business and make sure to keep selling the stat stones"
Yuni assigned Damo to work on building the shop and wondered how quickly he would be able to do it " Miss Yuni , Prince Grasil is asking what your plans are in staying up here ? " ' Probably to account for my interference in there were '
She gave them a list of House's armaments , which is basically Damo's diary on constructing around House "I'll be fighting down there with this guy" Yuni picked Limos up to show their stats through Cosmetics .
"Make sure to report it to your prince also , I'll only go for the strong guys" " Understood , I will relay this information to Prince Grasil " Yuni sat by the porch as she heard the elf go down with wind magic .
' A war between worlds huh ? ' Yuni thinks of the purposes of war as she lay her back on the floor , feeling the sunlight of this world ' It seems that this game doesn't only have a well-established and capable system , but also many connections to different worlds . '
Yuni thinks of how vast this game truly was ' It's not a definition of how they function , but more so how they can establish rules in this world ' Yuni could feel the vastness of the system and compares this one to the previous ones .
' This system isn't even on a planetary scale , but even higher , maybe as big as the universe ' Yuni wondered how far she was from home , but figured with all the games that she and her children had completed , they would find her eventually .
' I'm sure the time difference is the same , but I wonder when they'd get here ' she didn't feel worried about her children because of how she raised them , despite always playing another game ' I probably shouldn't call them this time around , I am dealing with a much bigger world '
Yuni feels the presence of someone's gaze through a familiar and wraps it in darkness ' First I'll have to take care of these ' Yuni had the thought of hacking , but that would be considered cheating and kills the familiar .
' This is the first one I sensed, but they will send more . As for the implications of me killing their familiar ? ... It's too complicated ' Yuni thinks of how she can gain rewards from this battle considering it's a group battle ' Maybe if I take over the presence of Grasil in his storybook ? '
Yuni smiled as she could imagine the rewards ' I'd better prepare ' Yuni went to the ask more info and smiled learning about what preparations she needed ' Guess the prisoner isn't just a damsel in distress for helping me along the way '

' Huh seems useful ' Yuni walked through the cloud of souls that Delirium made her face as an alternative payment . She tuned out the cries of the dead and walked through it . She entered a grand cathedral and walked between the chairs and at the front was a statue of a man .
Yuni walked close as the silence of the building only emphasized the sounds of her steps ' Hmm these boots are pretty loud ' she thought to herself the dead whispersed while some screamed , as well as voices giving her coherent sentences .
' I hear more than just the language but also some growls , chirps and barking ' Yuni figured that this should be related to the name of the eternal death ' There is that same soul gathering power in this statue too '
Yuni sniffed the air and smelled some distinct scent of blood among the sterile atmosphere ' They're not as bad as my kids when it comes to cleaning but they could use some improvements . '
Yuni wondered how this could give her clues and listened to a soul making some coherent sentences among the voices " The eternal death gathers soul " Yuni decided to tune out the voices that cannot be understood and listened to the ones that could .
" They sacrificed us to this statue " " Hey don't you know they wanted some kind of paradise after death " " That's why they're called the eternal death " " Why would they want to die and be part of the eternal death ? " ' sounds like a lounge for souls to pass the time , but this thing about being part of the eternal death is strange '
Yuni hears the dead as they discussed who the eternal death is and finally came the eternal death with someone " You came much earlier than midnight sir " " yes I did . I need as many souls right now , so increase the quota " Yuni listened to the conversation , understanding more about who the eternal death is .
' In other words , this eternal death they desire is just another version of a spiritual world ? ' Yuni learns their desire to create a beautiful underworld where they can gain eternal death ' Makes it clear they'd want the world tree if that was the goal '
Yuni assumed that they didn't just want to animate the dead tree , but to use it , but wondered what it was for and checked . She listened to the priest and wished she could get some information out of them . And she did " When may I return ? " " When I finally acquire the world tree , I will be able to expand my spiritual world "
' that's a big claim but still believable with the amoutn of effort they put ' Yuni imagined they had this plan for a while and Grasil had accelerated it using necromancy causing them to also learn as much as possible so that they could slowly take over it ' It seems like I'm right about this ? ' she heard about how they decided to move all their efforts to this world's spiritual world .
' so that means there are other worlds similar to this ' she felt validated because she was right about her theory and continued listening " Sir there are a few transcendents who are bothering our operations " " don't mind them , unlike them , I can pay for interfering with the lower world levels "
' Oh now that is a very interesting mechanic they got going ' Yuni imagined how useful the mechanic of limiting access of higher level players to lower world levels , but was also surprised they have such a complex system behind differing world levels ' I can't believe they can reinforce something like this but I think it has to do with something else '
Yuni tried to use the stat stones extraction ' I can't use it ? ' Yuni reads the rest of the description and learns ' Target too far ? ' Yuni smiled , figuring out how the system reinforces its rules ' Guess this N/A reward will be useful '
Yuni thought she might need to limit the system's interference with her ' But there are the challenges ' Yuni wondered how this would be good , especially since the system can force the challenges onto her ' Considering the attacks they can throw at me through the inoculation quest , it might become a big problem '
