This is a piece about silence ,pain ,and the space between words where truth often hides.

I wrote a page about my feelings . Mom saw it .

She thought that I betrayed her . Ruined her reputation . She let me study . I betrayed her by having a crush.

I tried to explain .

A slap came . Then another . Then another . It continued .

I still tried but she didn`t listen .

Gave me threats to stop my education , to kill me .

I was just staring at her . No words just a stare with eye contact .

She left the room .

I felt no remorse , grief . But I closed off my emotion .

Just stopped living with emotion .

Today that page came in front of me . I started reading .

I realised that I was just asking my feelings .
