I hate waking up.

I hate ever morning I wake up,

I’m different each time.

I hate that my dreams are better,

Better than my reality.

I hate that I feel in dreams,

But never in reality.

I hate waking up in this world.

Where everything comes at a cost.

I hate that to survive,

I have to be something I’m not.

I hate that I have to fake every day.

Fake being healthy.

Fake that I eat every day.

Fake being perfect.

Fake being nice to myself.

Fake being enough,

Enough for people who shouldn’t matter.

I hate that I can’t even remember who I am,

Except in my dreams.

I hate waking up,

 feeling like I have to be the best,

In everything I do.

I hate that my dreams are better,

Constantly better than my reality.

I hate waking up.

Why are my dreams always better,

Always better than everything?
