So the point of this was to show my thought process and why I stopped the series and what my long-term goals are. I wanted to tell a story of hope and dreams with a large cast, weaving between many characters. It's why the PoV changes so much, each with their own desire. Even if/when I make a new book, I was planning to keep exploring those themes of the cast and people in the world. But I also want to finish writing the dark book I started. It was just this book was in my head, and I wanted at least some closure vs. how I left it in book one. Yes, the plot is still open; that is by design. Life never wraps a bow just because we walk away; something stays unsolved.

I also was tempted to start a new book idea, "Last Hope Inn," about a man forced to work at an inn and give hope to random heroes who wander in with no hope. The idea is they lost faith in the world they came from and ended up here looking for hope. Does he do it? levels up himself and his inn, he fails? Another world loses hope, and darkness wins. It also allows many different types of heroes and worlds, not just one. It would be an LitRPG base building tied around hope. Just spit balling an idea; don't steal my idea!!! So the point of this chapter was to show where I stand and what my long-term goals are. I still want to sell my work one day, so I'm looking for something that will sell. That's partly why I stopped potions and dreams. I'm happy I got fans, but... I do need money and need to get better and write more successful stuff, so even if all three books flop, I still have other ideas—more action-focused, less love and hope—but I wanted to at least leave something good in this world, so I started with hope and dreams as my first book.
