So many stories are lost to the void
So many stories are torn and destroyed
And yet their memory lives in our hearts
Still yet teaching us how to be part
Love sans consumption, giving for love
Living for simple love as part of
Part of the manifestation, the flow
So that there is no longer above or below
And so the stories we found in our youth
They still carry heartbreak and hunger and truth
Hunger for power, equality
Hunger for wildness, and true liberty
The liberty to love and to give and be equal
The liberty to free all the exploited people
To love another person is to see the face of God
The poor, the exploited, they are the face of God
The workers, the children, the hungry, the low
They are the spirit of God and the flow
They are the spirit so cunning and sly
If you kill me then my soul it shall fly
