The blinding, golden wave of the executioner's ultimate sentence faded, leaving a terrifying emptiness in its wake. Queen Nia Kasumi watched in absolute shock as King Arion Azraelis, the newly empowered tyrant who had wielded absolute dominion moments ago, was simply gone.
Refusing to believe it, Nia instantly activated Celestial Water Gate, stepping through the shimmering portal to teleport directly in front of The Judge, landing on the exact spot where King Arion had just stood. She quickly closed her eyes, extending her divine senses outward, desperately trying to sense any lingering fragment or essence of Arion left behind.
There was absolutely nothing. The tyrant had been erased from existence entirely.
Before Nia could even process the magnitude of the erasure, the air around her burned with lethal heat. Five glowing magical sigils suddenly materialized in a perfect circle around her, trapping her within The Judge’s terrifying Infernal Tribunal.
The sigils exploded instantly, unleashing a chain of massive, area-of-effect detonations that flattened the ground and engulfed her in apocalyptic fire.
As the smoke billowed, a brilliant light pierced the destruction. Nia emerged, her body glowing intensely as Cosmic Radiance Healing activated passively, channeling the light of the cosmos to effortlessly regenerate her injuries in a matter of seconds.
"It doesn't have to be this way!" Nia shouted, looking up at the towering 17-foot executioner. "We don't have to do this. We can all talk it out!"
As she pleaded for reason, Nia glanced over her shoulder. Her heart sank. Far in the distance, the 16 enemies—the 12 Elders and the 4 Kingdom Rulers—were completely ignoring her plea to The Judge, rushing with terrifying speed directly towards the heavily fortified gates of Fort Vigilance.
Her momentary distraction cost her dearly.
BOOM!
Nia was violently exploded again. This time, three localized magical embers—the Ember Verdict—had materialized directly on her body and detonated with pinpoint, devastating force.
Nia staggered, coughing as the smoke cleared. She felt a sudden, sickening shift within her body. The passive glow of her Cosmic Radiance Healing flickered and died; the sheer destructive output of the rapid explosions was overwhelming her passive limits, and her automatic healing was no longer activating.
Gritting her teeth through the pain, she leaped backward to create distance between herself and The Judge. But his combat calculation was flawless. Waiting for her at the exact location she jumped to were three more glowing embers.
They detonated the instant her boots touched the ground. The blast blew her violently into the air, and she crashed heavily onto the cracked obsidian earth, her celestial robes scorched and her body battered.
The Judge didn't even look down at her. Deeming her defeated, he slowly turned his massive back to the fallen Queen and began walking methodically toward Fort Vigilance.
But as he walked, the sky above the bleeding Queen began to warp. A colossal magical orb began forming high in the atmosphere, drawing in cataclysmic amounts of energy. It was Apocalyptic Judgement. The orb thrummed with a terrifying frequency, its condensed energy capable of apocalyptic destruction.
Nia looked up at the descending orb, her body trembling as she struggled to even lift her arms. The weight of the impending destruction pressed down on her chest. She had to protect her people. She had to protect the trillions hiding within those walls.
Closing her eyes, she whispered a prayer to the deepest sources of her power.
"The Goddess of Light, lend me your strength.......Eternal Dawn."
The sky erupted.
Nia exploded in blinding, transcendent light as her very form began to transform. She summoned the power of an eternal sunrise that spread across the entire universe, a light that brings about the birth of new stars, revives dying galaxies, and wipes away all traces of darkness and corruption. This power was so immense that it could reshape the very fabric of the multiverse.
Before the colossal magical orb above her could fully form and stabilize, the transformed Nia held out both of her hands. She fired a blinding, concentrated blast of absolute light that collided with the Apocalyptic Judgement orb. The divine energy didn't just push the orb back—it completely erased the catastrophic attack from reality itself.
Nia floated back down to the earth, her body radiating an impossible, god-like brilliance.
"Judge.........turn around," she commanded, her voice carrying the weight of a cosmic deity.
The giant stopped. As he slowly turned, Nia was already there. She bypassed all physical perception, appearing directly beside him and driving a devastating, light-infused strike straight into his side.
The impact created a massive shockwave, but as the dust settled, Nia's expression faltered. No damage was done to his body. The Judge’s indestructible form hadn't even flinched.
"I see," Nia murmured, her glowing eyes narrowing.
In response, The Judge summoned three more embers, attaching them directly to her glowing form. They detonated point-blank—but as the smoke cleared, Nia remained perfectly untouched. Her new form rendered the explosive damage completely obsolete.
"........Eternal Dawn: Divine Spectrum!" Nia roared.
Harnessing the full spectrum of light, she commanded the fundamental forces of the universe. The heavens tore open, and a colossal beam of pure, multi-spectrum light crashed down from the sky, striking right down on The Judge.
The attack was so unimaginably massive and devastating that the very bedrock of the Land of Spade ceased to exist. The surrounding area was completely disintegrated in a flash of blinding radiation. The blast was so deep and wide that the earth simply vanished.
When the blinding light finally faded, The Judge and Queen Nia seemed as if they were hovering in the sky, completely surrounded by empty space, because the ground beneath them for miles was no longer visible, even though in reality they were still at ground level.
Far in the distance, the 16 charging rulers and elders stopped dead in their tracks, turning around completely shocked at the catastrophic display of power.
When Nia's attack finally subsided, the dust cleared to reveal something truly unimaginable.
The Judge was.......hurt.
He hadn't suffered any external physical damage, but flowing slowly from the corner of his perpetually smooth, unblemished mouth was a slight trickle of blood.
Queen Nia glared at the tyrant, preparing to fly over and continue the fight. But as she took a step forward, her brilliant light suddenly fractured and died. She had completely exhausted every single ounce of her cosmic energy. Without the power of flight or solid ground beneath her, Nia's eyes rolled back, and she began falling helplessly into the massive, bottomless hole she had just created.
The Judge remained floating silently in the air, his cold, piercing gaze looking down upon Nia as she plummeted into the darkness.
Seeing their leader hovering over the abyss, Queen Nogia immediately reacted. She activated her Nanite Swarm Protocol, deploying a programmable swarm of highly advanced nanites. The silver cloud of machines flew across the battlefield to retrieve The Judge, wrapping around him to help bring him over to their side, even though he could have easily floated over himself.
As the swarm carried him, the nanites began buzzing and scanning, analyzing The Judge for the extent of his injuries. The data streamed directly into Queen Nogia's cybernetic eye.
Queen Nogia crossed her arms, turning to the other shocked rulers and elders. "It was 'one of those' attacks," she explained, her voice carrying a mix of awe and technological superiority. "That is the only reason The Judge has been hurt. He cannot be harmed by any physical, energy, or magical-based attack. She hit him with a conceptual force."
The other Elders immediately rushed forward to check up on their silent leader as he touched down, but The Judge simply ignored them. Wiping the blood from his mouth, he turned his back on the crater and began walking methodically toward the towering walls of Fort Vigilance.
The group followed, their eyes drifting up to the massive sanctuary. As they approached, they realized that the base was heavily fortified.
A couple of the Elders and Kings—eager to prove their might—stepped forward and unleashed a barrage of incredibly strong, destructive attacks against the walls. But it was entirely futile. The material of Fort Vigilance was far too high-tech. The base was completely encased in Aetherstron, a quantum-bound lattice material that entangled its atoms across spacetime.
"We can't break it!" King Ragnarok growled, lowering his fists.
"Let's just teleport inside," one of the Elders suggested, preparing a spatial spell.
"That wouldn't be possible," Queen Nogia interrupted, her cybernetic eye whirring as she analyzed the fortress walls. "This base itself is actively shifting against our desires. It’s an intelligent structure. It’s evolving in real time to counter and block spatial anomalies and teleportation."
King Thornoe slammed his heavy war hammer into the dirt in frustration. "Then how are we supposed to get in? I didn't expect the 5 Universes to possess technology like this!"
The group stared up at the impenetrable, shifting walls of Fort Vigilance, temporarily halted by Captain Solari's ultimate masterpiece.
But suddenly, from the shadows just behind the group, an eerie, smooth voice broke the silence.
"Allow me to help you......"
