小笠原琴乃，一名普通的國中女學生，在搬家不久後因一次意外不幸受傷，在鎮上的小型診所留醫，她在診所裡遇到一群很特別的醫生：坐著輪椅但樂觀的年輕見習醫生兼機械工程師姫野美知人、他的最新發明的醫療機械人阿薰、曾是軍醫的熱情資深醫生以及美知人的小舅姫野剛、最後是擁有最強記憶力的天才醫生服部淳。

琴乃在一次又一次的經歷中和他們慢慢熟絡，但她能總感覺到服部醫生經常在回避她，且用憂傷的眼神看著她。儘管想查明真相，可惜的是不到兩個月的時間，她被逼搬到其他的小鎮生活。而在某天深夜偷看了服部醫生的日記的美知人最終決定把真相說了給琴乃，令她陷入危險之中……
