The players rushed back and forth on the court. Each team was barely able to keep the ball long enough to score. The match had been going on for eight minutes. So far, neither team had scored. The referee had called a series of false fouls by the visiting team and ignored fouls made by the home team. Tensions on the court were high; both teams needed to win this match to make it to the finals. The visiting team lost their tolerance when one of their players was injured and the ref did nothing; they turned up their aggression.
