Anger, I think

Written on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Written in my bedroom, at my desk.

My blood is pulsing through my head,

My heart is pounding in my chest,

My whole body is shaking,

Like prey being watched by a tiger.

I want to roar,

I want to growl,

I want to shriek,

I want to shout.

I don't know what is wrong with me.

I can't explain it to you.

My face turns red.

My lips turn dry.

My chin quivers.

My eyes close tight.

The raging flames

In my heart will threaten

To burn my whole world down.

Cold, dark eyes.

Cold, dark stares.

Cold, dark heart.

Cold, dark world.

I have to let my anger out,

I have to let my sadness out about her.

But that's all I can say.

Today, 

Or ever.
