A poem I wrote, open to interpretation and extrapolation of a lot of themes.Enter your best interpretation whether literal or deeper, and the best interpretation wins.

"At the finish line, stands a tall black grotesque silhouette

Hovering above daring anyone who may want to cross it

At peace ,with all the obstacles that on its way was able to create

Creating enough anxiety and despair even for the most fit athlete

Balance so delicate, shiny enough to give a glimmer of hope

Visible enough to make it seem as attainable as possible

He watches closely while giving enough time for the mantle to drop

Because for most ,their hopes and dreams written down ,by the end of the race are reduced to a scribble

All hurdles designed carefully for armour on the way slowly left

Even the most equipped end up taking the easiest route to combat him eventually

Those with diamonds and gold move through the hurdles obtaining armour through theft

While the victims are forced to switch plans because he will destroy their life gladly

Bored and helpless helping those with gold even Silver and Crystals they gain

While thinking of what life could've been had they had the chance to follow their heart

The hurdles continue equipping the equipped, making them use less and less of their brain

Victims have to choose whether to succumb to his pressures,or live in a fantasy where winning could involve their art

But is it really fair if the pressures affect the respect they gain from the spectators?

Is it really fair if colleagues would see them as plaque even though they are taking a different path to defeat the same perpetrators?

Is it really fair if the points they each get , regardless of the path and difficulty is determined by the same adjudicators?

Is it really fair if the obstacles, depending on time taken, will make them dropped even by their own mentors?

At the end of the day the victim is forced to follow a path chosen for them

Because everyone providing the armour on the way is fatigued

Dies thinking of what life could've been had they fought harder then

But forced to be grateful for by obeying at least they had somewhere to sleep."
