Life as they knew it consisted of living on an international space station since they were born. Earth suffered a massive nuclear explosion decades ago that resulted in the human race evacuating to the only place that was safe, space. Many years had passed and the space station is suffering overpopulation that's resulting in a shortage of food and supplies, thus expiration dates were created. When a baby is born it is given an expiration date, when the time comes the human will have to be killed. However, they have received news that earth is recovering and becoming viable by the day. Expiration dates can also be used as punishment as well. Engaging in any illegal activities can result in shortening your expiration date. Once a year, a lottery is held, everyone on on the station is entered into the lottery and the select few who won the lottery are allowed to remove their expiration date. This year, however, things will go differently...

Sungjin Park, an immortal being, is forced upon God to seek a soulmate. Once an ordinary mortal, he met a girl named Aera Yi whom he fell in love with at first sight. A couple of months of getting to know each other and Sungjin's heartfelt confession to Aera, she began to fall gravely ill. Sungjin, unaware of Aera's hospitalization, was in a different city studying anatomy. When he arrived back in his hometown, he sadly learned of Aera's passing when he was away. Grieved by this, Sungjin couldn't move on from her. One day, as he was visiting Aera's body in the cemetery, he came across an elixir hidden in the grass near Aera's gravestone. This elixir was one of 7 elixirs scattered across the cosmos, and they were called the 7 elixirs of Eternal Life. This elixir was called the Elixir of Litalis, and it granted Sungjin the power of immortality, at the price of Sungjin being cursed to endlessly wander through time unless he could get the other six elixirs and return Aera to life.
