Okay this chapter officially made me emotional, the way you wove in his parents' personalities through Devavratha's stories was chef's kiss. Also, Arjun's entrance gave me whiplash in the best way; is he going to be a major player in the plot or just a comfort character?

I really enjoyed this chapter. I liked how it focused on Ayaan slowly settling into Meruzhen and starting to feel like he might actually belong there. The introduction to Devavratha was definitely a highlight, especially the moment Ayaan realizes who he is and immediately starts questioning everything . I also liked how his parents were shown as real, flawed people instead of just tragic backstory figures. The Citadel tour made the world feel really alive, with the mix of combat, arts, music, engineering, and everyday student life.The Arjun reunion was also really well done. I liked how the memory comes back naturally through the summer camp moment, making their connection feel genuine. Taara, Arjun, and Ayaan already have a fun dynamic, and I can see that trio being really entertaining going forward. The ending on the valley was a great emotional note too, especially that sense of Ayaan slowly starting to move forward instead of just surviving.
