This story hit hard the tension between Tommy and his father was so raw and unsettling, yet beautifully written with emotion and detail. I could really feel the fear, confusion, and quiet strength in Tommy’s perspective. I’m curious though, was his father’s calmness at the end a sign of guilt, or something darker that Tommy hasn’t realized yet?
