I liked the contrast between Lu’s intense encounter with P and Hanabi’s ordinary morning, especially how the chapter shifts from danger to her caring for exhausted customers. P being described as “not of this world” also raises a lot of questions. Was P’s true nature something you had planned from the start, or did it develop as you built the story?

This is a tense chapter full of short, well-placed scenes designed to highlight the contrast between the icy competence of the shadowy organization and the more... domestic setting of Hanabi’s morning routine. I appreciate how the interactions between Lu and the mysterious Kazuma manage to both fill in details about their organizations while still keeping their mystery, menace, and focus on the real mystery of P. The jump to Hanabi’s mundane spa-owner life is nicely done – it serves as a reminder that while the shadowy figures are circling overhead, she is still very much a normal woman with a normal life that will soon be violently upended. Lu’s remark that P is not of this world and his particular insistence that he will be the one to kill him suggest that the man has some… interest in P beyond just the standard orders. Do you think it will make him a more dangerous opponent or a less one, now that he knows more? also I got an comm idea while reading if you don't mind can we connect in DMs i can also hsare the idea with you there Cuz I Can't share it here for some reason :(

I really enjoyed the way this chapter slowly builds the mystery around P, especially Lu’s description of how unpredictable and adaptable his fighting style is. The shift from that tense conversation with Kazuma to Hanabi’s much calmer morning scene was a nice contrast, and ending with Gran Sarume’s call definitely made me curious about what’s coming next.I’m really curious what Gran Sarume’s call is about and how it might connect to everything happening with P and Lu.
