Even though I love the idea of turing it into a novel, I think I’m going to decline. I’m still experimenting with my writing and want to do it solo. Also, I don’t have an actual job currently, so I wouldn’t have a great way for payment.

The ending absolutely wrecked me! One moment Kayata is just trying to get through King's Day unbothered, and then soldiers show up and she gets arrested by direct order of the king? The way the tension built so quietly through the whole chapter and then exploded at the very last line, I cannot handle it. This story already has me in a chokehold :))
